Big OOPS
I used to live in the area and have golfed at both the courses before. They are nice. So when i saw the "hot deal" I bought for a few days out. On Moinday it was raining where i live and I called the course at 11. My tee time was 12:20. The guy I spoke to said the course was open and no rain although it had been on and off. I would have to use my Golf Now purchase or lose it. I drove the 40 minutes to the course and got there just before noon. It was not raining but was told they were closing at 2 PM. I could get nine holes in, they told me. While they gave be a rain check, I drove 40 minutes and then another 40 to get home for nothing. NOT A HAPPY GOLFER.
While i may use my rain check WITH "walking only" written on it. I think it will be the last time. (This was my mistake, I don't usually buy items without a cart. I didn't not see the disclaimer.). If you live close by and it it is sunny, the two courses are good. A tad over-priced, maybe. But don't trust the service at the executive course.
I’m not mad that they had the juniors playing on Sunday afternoon. It’s the fact that parents that were with them had no common sense of the pace of play rule. Obviously yes the kids are going to be a little slower and that’s perfectly fine. But the siblings with them were running around on the green we were hitting too. The kids that were playing golf seemed to rather play with sticks and not walk towards their ball. Whoever organizes this needs to have a chat with the parents and kids about keeping the pace of play for other.

This course use to be in premium condition. It’s a little beat up on a few holes but still a fun course to play

Expected some soggy turf after a week of rain, and we got alot of it. Pace of play was slow as we ended up being a twosome sandwiched between a foursome and a threesome. Round took 3 hours, not too bad.
Very slow pace for an Exec course
Took over 2 hours to play front 9, was waiting at 10 with 2 other groups ahead, at that point I gave up and didn't finish the back 9 it would have taken even longer!
Still fun
This course can suffer from slow play but it never fails to satisfy that itch to get outside and enjoy the game.

Frustrating with slow groups who don't seem to care about pace of play. It should not take 3 hours.
Soggy conditions
Played two days after a heavy rain. Course was soggy as expected ( cart path only). Pace of play on front 9 was slow. Back nine much quicker. Traps were wet, but grounds crew were draining them. Overall, we got what we expected...and we actually scored very well under those conditions.
