Heritage Hills Golf Resort
About
Heritage Hills Golf Course plays across the lush, rolling hillsides that York County is known for. The course has a classic design with some tough holes that will test even seasoned players. The layout also offers plenty of risk-reward opportunities that encourage you to carefully think about your strategy on each hole. The greens are large and undulating and the fairways are expertly manicured. Golfers will have to contend with the hilly terrain, particularly on the par-3 fifth and par-4 16th holes, which have the most dramatic elevation changes. Native vegetation accents the landscape and there are also interesting water features that come into play throughout. Heritage Hills Golf Course's pretty landscape provides some beautiful scenery to go along with your round, especially during the spring when the pear and cherry trees begin to bloom.

Winter is different than in season
No range in the winter to warm up on and no tee box markers can make it a pain for playing but for the time of year the course was in excellent condition and pace of play was on point.
2nd time just as good as the first
I've played Heritage Hills twice - both Hot Deals through Golf Now. It's early in the season and the driving range was coated in man-made snow - I guess they will have tubing there for a couple more weekends. Unfortunately, the putting green was also fenced off - I was looking forward to putting for about 30 minutes before my round started and I got there early. Went rogue and did some wedge work near the tubing runs - not sure the staff would have been happy about that, but I played dumb and was able to warm up. Course was in remarkably good condition for early February, and it did look like a few of the greens had actually been cut recently. Greens were receptive and rolled very well. Sand traps need some attention, but like I said, it's really early. Love the layout - the parallel par 3's (12 and 15) are among my favorite holes there. Played well there despite only having a couple rounds in the books in 2024. Tee markers were not in place, but I think I had a pretty good test of golf where we elected to play each hole from.
Slow play (4.5 hr round). Lots of workers/equipment on the course. Workers normally step aside and let golfers play through, especially around the greens. Not here. I felt like I was intruding on them. I had to play around their work routine.
Challenging and fun
Fast greens with tricky breaks. Challenging course. Look forward to playing again next time around.
Nice course and in great shape
I enjoyed the course, it was in great condition. Some challenging driving holes for sure with the tree lines and hazards. Green were quick and I wish I could have read them better, maybe next time. The back was harder to play than the front. Plus 3 on the front, Plus 7 on the back. All good, enjoyed playing here.
Good layou. Something for all players. Course was in good condition
Overcharged for my tee time.
I had to pay $33 to you in order to reserve our tea time.
When I got to the course, they did not honor my previous $33 payment and made me pay full price.
I wound up paying $45 for the tee time at the course plus $33 for my prior payment for a total of $78.
The man and the woman I talked to at the pro shop we're not very understanding or cooperative even after I showed them the email you sent me showing the $33 credit. They said next time I should call them instead of going through your website.
I noticed the statement that you have on your website stating there is no brokerage fee for creating a reservation, however, this was not the case.
Can you do anything to remedy this ?
Conflicting Information
I paid on Golf Now and the time slot was for 1 player as I tend to enjoy playing alone. I get there and I get paired with two players. Awesome people by the way. I don't mind it if I have to, but the course and Golf Now should be on the same page. GN puts on their app what the course provides, so clearly this was on the staff. The course was backed up for quite a while. We waited around 15-20 minutes to play on hole because it was so backed up. I like it because it is less than 1 mile from my house, so there is a convenience factor.
Great Course
If you haven't played this golf course, it's a must-play. Not your typical public course. The course has enormous green, many up-and-down shots, and a few narrow tee shots. The staff in the pro shop were amiable. The starters were another story that shouldn't stop you from playing this course.
