Rocky River Golf Club at Concord

Not a good value for the 60.00 green fee. The greens are excellent but the bunkers are not well kept.
The course is quiet rough compared to a couple of years ago. A lot of areas need repair especially at or near cart paths. More inline with a 40.00 rate vs the premium we paid for a mid week round. Overall a disappointment.

The racetrack is loud but the layout and course conditions are great. Would come back

The round was soured a bit due to the slow play. Tee times are set up w/10 minute intervals, but the round took 4:50. The slow play might (?) have been the result of the group in front of us. A group of 5 w/only 4 playing. The 5th being an off duty starter. This group may have “jumped” the line.
Moving on, the course has seen better days. Areas appeared dried out and worn, but greens were true (and fast). I will return because it’s beautifully laid out and a friendly staff. Decent value for the money.

I was placed with a threesome, so our round took 5 hours. Not the course’s fault, but as a single, and the fact that we never saw another group, I could have played in far less time. Other than that, the course was in great shape, greens running pretty fast…seemed a bit dry but not unplayable.

RRGC is a well laid out track. Pin placements are extremely challenging. A great test course for your skill level, whatever it is.

played with a legend from Canada named Pistol Pete - he hit every fairway whether it was his or not, greens were challenging - loved it - wish i could win the powerball and play all the time.

I have played Rocky River Golf Club (RR) many times, and while yesterday was a pleasant day, the course conditions were not up to most people's expectations. I guess it was due to the excess rain that we've had over the last 2-3 months, but Rocky River's tee boxes, and fairways were worn out, thin, brown. Overall the course conditions were sad. I like playing the course but for $60 on a Monday it was not worth it.

Starting out 2 holes completed in over 30 minutes. The course was really dry yet no carts allowed off the paths. Some of the tee boxes were like hitting off dirt on the par 3’s. This course is probably in the worst shape I’ve ever seen it. I played 18 at Highland creek on Saturday and 18 at Rocky River on Sunday and Highland creek was twice the quality and a lot cheaper. I’m not sure why they feel this course is worth so much money to charge, If you want a way better experience and under 5 hour round try Verdict Ridge or Highland Creek. I golf 36 holes a week, live 4 miles from Rocky River and won’t be back. But I will say the pro shop staff was 5 out of 5 stars. The course was 2 star.

Definitely need rangers to assist with Pace of Play. 3 hours for the front 9 was painful with one group backing up everything. Was unable to play the last 2 holes because we ran out of day light due to how slow the pace of play was.

Played Saturday afternoon and called it quits after a 3hr front nine. Not a marshal to be seen.

Course was fine for the time of year. Greens were in great condition. Just sooooo slow. Over three hours on the front nine alone. Tee time at 2:50 and only got in 14 holes before sunset

Terrific test of golf with particularly challenging opening few holes requiring very accurate drives.
