North at Admiral Baker Golf Course
Played On 10/24/2019Great day
Greens are tricky - just in time for Halloween... 3 1/2 hour round and beautiful weather. Can’t go wrong

Summer in Arizona is great for golfers: bargain rates, wide open tee sheets unless your idea of a good time is five hour rounds?!
Sent off on the back nine and had it to myself. Fairways were very reasonable and the greens were great and true*
* discovered the front nine greens didn’t have as much break as the back, nine. Enjoyed the course and you should too

really fun course - opened as a private club, now open to us and when it started, it must of been great. They are working on the water features but does not detract from a challenge: tight tee shot and blind lay-ups are terrific fun and a break from up and back routing.

what it was and what it is - you gotta enjoy the value of a private club gone public. This isn't a hundred dollar a round course only because it isn't - IF they charged that, everything would be perfect. They don't and it is not, but the layout is a challenge and enjoyable and attractive and that is good enough for the price.

Late in the Daylight Savings afternoon, shadows creeping across flat fairways, revealing their true undulating nature - doesn’t matter what you shoot, does it? Beautiful golf course recovering from a savage SoCal winter... enjoy
the nerve!
fully half the greens are rotten and being treated by letting them grow to the length of your average shag carpet. Okay, fine, IF THEY WARN YOU and if they charge you for putting greens that are worst than Freddie Mercury's teet! But charging as if you are playing a well laid out, mid-level, local NICE golf course: WRONG!!
EASTLAKE - here is a plan: dig up and replant half of each lousy green and charge the public for 1/2 of a golf course. Then fix half of each green and when you are done, do the other half! Within the same time you wasted with a CLOSED golf course, you will have a fully functional golf course and all I ask for this advice is free golf for the rest of my life ( 67 now, so maybe 25 more years) WORTH IT!

use to be a fun track, but barely hanging on: everything is bare bones and not worth the drive
semi private course? Yes, please
Middle of the week, with rain at each end and cart path only opens things up: had the place to my self!
It is'nt the easiest course to walk - hills and more hills, slippery from the rains. Greens have not recovered and truely don't know that they ever will: grounds crew is literally plugging along, PLUGGING every diseased green with new sod and that is just about every green!
ALways have liked the forgiving nature of the fairway, so a great value.
Sun City Lakes Golf Club - West Course

Not the the biggest or fanciest but fun with narrow targets off the tee and difficult greens, enjoy!
Wigwam Resort - Gold Course
Played On 12/25/2018One of the best I’ve played
Found a Hot Deal while vacationing and so glad I came. Course is set up for The College All Americans event next weekend and it was stellar. Perfect fairways and no crowds on Christmas. Greens are fast, hard and fair. Played the right tee box and had a great round. Thanks to the staff for showing up today!
Almost 'Almost Perfect'
If you like having a private golf course, no one in front of you and no one behind, on a 74 degree, blue sky May Day? The 3 some wanted to be alone and offered to have me tee off ahead of them and so i did.
Greens still some what recovering from being punched, but fairways were generally good. *
* they need to control the carts off of the path: they use to move them half way up the fairway, but today, the first curve allowed fairway access and the wear takes away from the visual appeal of the course off the tee box.
2) They are called SAND traps and not Dirt Holes: figure it out.
Not Eastlake Georgia, but certainly nice enough on a blue sky Sunday and a 2:30 round.
Cottonwood Golf Club - Ivanhoe Course
Played On 04/15/2018meh
Rumor had it (from a GN review) that this was 4 star, greens good... not so much: still bumpy from being punched and with no starter, rangers or cart girls, nobody got groups together - I was stuck as a single, between twosomes who were sandwiched between other twosomes.
only good news is someone turned in the sand wedge I left behind

S L O W and so much of the fairway was marked 'unplayable' they shoulda declared it Winter Rules on all 18 and saved the paint!
Castle Creek Country Club
Played On 08/03/2017SO sad
The greens are dying! which is so sad, as the track offers a variety of shots, open and narrow off the tee, water, traps - really use to look forward to the trip here but it'll need a great deal of TLC to not become more housing

Played On 09/05/2016What a treat
First time on the Mount and can't wait to get back. Course was in good shape after the summer heat and really made you think about every shot: no bump and rum allowed!
PS- leave the carry bag and pull cart at home - thank me later.

Played On 09/24/20145 sets of tees - choose wisely
As I approach my 63rd birthday, I can still drive the ball well but I no longer have a 200 +yd fairway club and playing the blue tees, that is a must to reach a number of par fours and all of the fives. BTW - be straight off the tee and a slice will serve you better than a draw.
SO sad
Use to really enjoy this course, but the fairways and greens are in just a bad state: the green on #4 is almost bare dirt - it is a par 3 and they should set up a temp green and strip the whole thing and start over. Fairways have too many bare/burned out spots to count and they are not marked as unplayable... Other greens have so many ball marks, they are unplayable, too - that is not the course's fault, but I think golfers take more care when it appears the course cares.
Sorry about green #4 and #14. They have since been repaired but were as you described in bad condition. Contact me at your convenience so that we can hopefully show you all the improvements to the greens and fairways that we have made.
