Cottonwood is not the gem it was years ago. It's really run down with bad bunkers, green that wouldn't be bad if someone fixed a ball mark and spotty fairways. If the price is low, play it. It's was crowded today but we got around fairly quickly even with a 10:00 am start. It's no frills. There is no staff due to financial issues but that's not their fault. Someday it will be a gravel pit, but for now, with low expectations you can have an affordable round of basic golf.

greens were good,, so were the bunkers. the fairways are in the process of being changed to a different turf. if bumping your ball is ok for you, play it at a good price. we always enjoy Eastlake.

We've played Oak Glen at Singing Hills many times. When we booked the time, there wasn't mention of the greens being recently aeriated. They used the larger aeriation punch, so even though the greens were smoothing out a bit, they still weren't worth the rate we paid. The fairways also had been thatched so it was like hitting off very thin hay. The course design is good and the off course bar restaurant is great. It just would of been a nice warning had we knew what we were getting.

the greens were excellent as well as the bunkers. now the fairways are being worked on. fairways are thin with the rough being overgrown. it's noted on a sign in the golf cart that these two things are being worked on. if you're ok bumping your ball, you'll have a nice day. if not, wait until the work is finished. we still enjoyed ourselves.

We always enjoy playing Baker North. Wind makes a good test of golf even more difficult here. Greens were in good shape even though some need to fix their ball marks. Bunkers are good, fairways are mostly good. We had a nice day.

I always enjoy Eastlake. Greens are a little slow but in great shape. The bunkers are REAL sand. A lot of ground under repair in the fairways but the ownership is working hard on the course daily. The only problem we had was an annoying drone flying over the 14th and 15th hole. It wouldn't go away. We never had that at Eastlake before and we're not sure what could be done about it. If it happened too often, we would play elsewhere.

we love playing baker north. good layout with elevation changes. greens were perfect, bunkers in good condition. there are some fairways where the irrigation is over used but for the price and location, this is a great course.

Eastlake is improving, near perfect greens, beautiful bunkers that are sand and not dirt. Fairways are spotty but they are working on them constantly. We had a great day at Eastlake.

Eastlake was in much improved condition. The greens haven't been this good in years. The bunkers are excellent when the group in front of you rakes them properly. The fairways are a little spotty but that's Southern California golf. The staff is always friendly. It was a great day of golf on a very warm day.

Pine Glen is a fun par 3. Good for beginners and will also improve skilled players short games. Longest hole is around 200 yards, shortest around 85 yards. Great rate for a fun par 3.

baker north has a great layout. good elevation changes combined with wind, makes it more challenging that the score card indicates. it's a course you can walk away from sure that you'll score better the next time, then you may not due to wind, pin placements etc. the greens were good, as were the bunkers. some of the fairways are spotty and the Bermuda type rough is inconsistent. we keep going back to baker north and do enjoy it each time out.

we always enjoy playing pine glen. holes range from 85 yards to 190 or so. good for a new golfer and good practice for an experienced one. staff and facilities are great. good way to spend an afternoon.

With the ownership change, Eastlake has been working to get the course into shape. It is much improved with good fairways, new sand in the bunkers and down to only one temporary green (#7) which looks like it's ready to open. Some of the other greens are slow but much improved. The staff is always friendly although the young lady I checked in with today probably wasn't having her best day. The rest of the staff was extremely kind and welcoming.

the staff at eagle crest are very nice and do a good job considering there's only a few of them. the greens were very good, the bunkers hard and the fairways spotty. for a good price play it. the layout is really good, the course doesn't seem to get enough play to maintain it at a higher level. if you're willing to bump your ball to some grass in the fairways, you'll be ok.

Baker South is a short course with small greens. It's not punishing to play. The staff is good, the course is run well. The conditions are better than average except the greens will still recovering from aeriation. Two weeks from now, it should be very good. A good day of golf on a busy Sunday and we still finished in less the 4.5 hours even with a partying five some in front of us. We had a nice time and will be back.

Eastlake is still undergoing renovations. The greens are still mostly sandy with number 7 a complete temporary green. Some greens are too tall to putt. However, the staff is working to improve the course. The fairways are mostly good and the bunkers are much better. At some point, Eastlake will be very good. In the meantime, look for it at a good price and enjoy the day. Or pay 3 to 4 times more to find perfect greens. I enjoy the staff there and will still come back.

we enjoyed our day at Carlton Oaks. good pace of play, employees were working to get course back in shape after the local heavy rains. good day at a good price.

The course had a collegiate tournament that was a shotgun start and they still booked tee times that were going to go off late. The starter did his best but no one in the golf shop seemed to know what was going on. Many irritated local and visiting players were left standing around with no information. Finally the starter left and individuals pretty much paired themselves up and teed off at least 30 minutes or more late. A golf management company could help this property.
