Enough years go by and I forget how much I hate this course. Narrow winding fairways, high unkempt rough and greens that have little to no flat spots at all. Add to that a 5 hour round at best and this place is never a bargain. After 13 holes in 4 hours, the drink cart girl told us there were 2 full holes open ahead of the group we were following. We took the bait and drive around them to find groups on every hole thru 18. Not wanting to screw anyone else by jumping in we simply left the course.
Play anywhere else at any cost.

Tired of booking time only to find course in horrible shape. Greens were so recently sanded that the excess in the cups wouldn't allow the flags to stand up. Many areas were partially mown leaving high spots where balls couldn't be located. Looked forward to playing recently renovated course...couldn't believe how bad it was already.

Booked time via GolfNow prior to driving from Phoenix. No indication of any course maintenance or extraordinary issues going on. Not pleasantly surprised to see course shaved down as if overseeding started the next day. Inside staff very inefficient.

Even from the tips this course is short. Unfortunately they try to make up for it by lengthening the par 3s, all playing between 185-220. Tee boxes and bunkers need work, greens were playable.

Windy day on unfamiliar course. Several holes are total mysteries unless you play it couple times. Bunkers not in good shape and several areas where turf had been replaced or verticut that mad for difficult lies (should have been marked under repair). Came up from Phoenix to play, good temps but way too windy on course that requires precision.

So cold and windy, yet Chicago twosome with us wore shorts. Couldn't finish due to pace and darkness. Bunkers need work and sand.

After playing a less than stellar course for $100+, the Lakes course was a great surprise for $26. Course in great shape, allowed to drive in fairways which had come in beautifully. Made the mistake of teeing off 10 vs 1, which worked out great for pace, never running into another group. Free range balls included, something else the more expensive course failed to offer.

Booked high dollar tee time for visiting guests, making sure there were no restrictions on course after overseeding. The day before play I find they are in fact "cartpath only". I used a Rewards benefit so I couldn't get anything back and cancel. First course I've played costing over $100 that doesn't include range balls. First course I've played where marshall hounded us to speed up play because "members" behind us were calling and complaining #we played front nine in under 2 hours#, only to run into groups on back nine that had us waiting on every shot. Bunkers had more rocks in them than most munis. All in all a very disappointing experience that guarantees we will not return.

After playing many rounds in what is considered sand around here, it was almost impossible to get up and down from the bunkers at TPC. Sand was so soft ball usually plugged in the face of the trap about eye high...very tough to get stance. Rest of course was in better shape than usual this time of year. Starter convinced us to go off early, forfeiting any practice privileges...I don't suggest this. Then they put singles and twosomes right behind us (a foursome) pressuring us to let them through or rush ourselves. Outside service guy at the end was a bit rude in pursuit of a tip for cleaning clubs, leaving a bad taste at the end of the day.

Course was in nice shape, not many groups out today. However, 2 groups had 3 holes open in front of them so we came to a standstill at 14.

Played in the afternoon with no one else on course, making for a great pace of play. Fairways were in great shape, greens a little rough after recent aeration. Ladies in pro shop and restaurant were super friendly.

Course was in decent shape with the exception of the bunkers. No sand or so compacted you were hard pressed to not blade every shot.

Good conditions in general, sand sparse in bunkers. Greens were good at first but furry after about the fourth hole.

First time on course, pleasantly surprised. Compares favorably with Union Hills CC and Willowcreek. Will definitely be back.

Played with shorter hitters so couldn't take challenge of black tees but course still offers enough challenges. Hate that 18th hole...water TOO close to pin placement. Need halfway house open especially on crowded weekend like this.

Played here many times at many different rates. Few bare spots in fairways and rough let grow but very playable.

Played on crowded afternoon. Greeted in pro shop by cordial staff member who served us efficiently and allowed me to demo two clubs. Only complaint...dress code enforcement. Majority of players were in sport shorts and tank tops. Others were in denim. If you have a dress code enforce it.

Looking for warmup round at decent price. Price was good but this course doesn't allow you to play your game at all. Fairways are in decent shape, unless your driving a cart and then the bumps will jar your teeth loose. Not a smooth spot anywhere. The greens are all the size of an average swimming pool with the contours of the "ant hill" hole at mini golf.
