Turtle Creek Golf Course
About
Formerly known as Greenville Country Club, Turtle Creek Golf Course has been around since 1921, making it one of the area's oldest courses. Despite its long history, the relatively unknown course is known as one of the Miami Valley's best-kept secrets. It has a traditional layout that sprawls across acres of lush countryside, situated just outside of Greenville. The landscape is fairly wooded, requiring a bit of accuracy in order to maneuver through some of the narrow openings provided by the trees. There is a stream meandering across the golf course that comes into play on several holes. A few strategically placed bunkers also lurk around some of the greens. Turtle Creek Golf Course is player friendly enough for beginners but it is still an interesting round for more advanced players.

Awesome course!
This course has a great layout and is well maintained! We definitely enjoyed our round and the value was excellent!
Good course for me price
Course was in great condition greens were fast
They need a better way and signs for cart returns after your round
Great Time!
First time being here. Had heard good things. Caught a HOT Deal, me and two buddies. The weather was beautiful, the fairways were nice, and the greens, fast. We had an awesome experience! The greens were very challenging, the fairways were tight, on the back 9. Overall we were impressed with the course. We plan on returning sometime in the near future.
Don play if you cant Turn 18 holes in hours
Great course not managed well.
When your pushed along and cant enjoy the round it doesn't matter how the course was..
Two of the three of us have never played the course. the group behind refused to play through and kept hitting into us. We turned the front 9 in 2 hours and 5 minutes. Then were told to pick up the pace on the back 9.
Total time of round 4hours 10 and it wasn't fast enough for the management.
I will never go back to this course! If you cant play faster than That I would not play here!!!!
Worse time I've had on a golf course in 2 Years!!!
Great day of golf!
Great course. A great mix of open fairways and tight wooded areas. The course is in great shape and very reasonable in price. Check it out!
Poor course for the money
Sadly this once great course has slipped into very sad condition. Maybe things will change.
19th Hole.
Ya gotta stop in the restaurant after 18...awesome food! Enjoyed Turtle Creek...a bunch!
Great value
This is fun course (previously the Greenville Country Club) with a lot of character. The restaurant has a nice selection a great selection of craft beers. I make a point of playing here whenever I'm in the area.
great value
Best condition for this time of year I've seen. Will plan to play here a couple of times a week. Friendly staff. A threesome let me join them in order to guide me around for the first time.
Great shape
Course was in excellent condition, fairways, greens and tee boxes. Staff was freindly and our twosome played in just under 3 hours.
A Gem Way Out There
I should play here more often but it is somewhat off the beaten path. Reminiscent of a Donald Ross design on many holes. Wonderful condition, like mid-season in November. Not that long from the tips but perfect for me at 6050 or so from the whites (par 71).
Another fine day at Turtle Creek
I like this course very much. It is very picturesque with the leaves changing. It has some nice ups and downs on the layout. The back nine is more to my liking than the front nine. The front nine has ups and downs as well and is challenging too. I'm so glad it's no longer a private country club. The Thirsty Turtle Lounge is always a good place for the sports bar type cuisine. Staff is very friendly, and prompt to fill your glass with your favorite draft. Some of the best burgers around too.
Recommend
This course was great. Love playing here
Maybe the Best Value in Western Ohio
Friend of mine got a hot deal on GolfNow and it was worth every penny. Course was a little soft and had some areas in need of repair, but it was overall in fantastic shape. Bunkers had plenty of soft sand in them, greens were a little slow because of the rain but rolled overall very well. Layout was a nice mix of tight tree lined fairways, wide open shots, and some water to make for a challenge. Stopped in for food after the round and the wings were excellent, I highly recommend them. Course is excellent overall and if you somehow find yourself in the Dayton area, it's well worth the drive.
