Nice course with good variety
This is a very nice course with a nice variety of holes. There is enough water to make it interesting but not too much. The multiple sets of tees makes it playable for everyone. There are houses along many fairways so probably not the best for a beginner. The course is well-maintained.
Pleasant Day of Golf
For a course that is integrated in a neighborhood it is laid out extremely well. Not near as tight as say a Blue Ash. A beautiful patch of land to play on. The greens were in great shape as were the fairways and tee boxes. I like playing a links style course every once and a while and this is my favorite.
Great course
The course was great. Greens were a bit soft but rolled true. Could have gone for a little nicer facility for food
Awesome
This is one of my favorite courses in the area. Always in great shape and challenging.
drum44
Always check to see if there is an outing..Slows everything down big time. Golfnow doesn't know this so call before you make a reservation through them
great course
Best condition it has ever been! Greens were smooth and quick.
Nice course
Walden Ponds Golf Club is a really nice course for the value. Play was slow but that was to be expected. I thought the course was in excellent condition. The course is not too long or too short, par 3s are challenging and most par 5s are reachable in 2 shots if you are trying to score low. Par 4s are fair some short, some longer, but definitely easy to post a low score if you keep the ball in the fairway. I would reccommend this course to anyone I think its worth a visit. The facilities were not that great and if this place has a bar I couldn't find it. Overall a fun course. I'd go back.
Nice
Beautiful course worth every penny I would recommend to friends and family
best pace on an Saturday morning
Course in very good shape. .Pace of play was great. The starter on Saturday morning was very helpful and kept everyone moving and happy.
Has potential but needs work
This course probably has the most potential in the area but still cannot obtain it. Everything is just ok but for the money and location it should be in top shape. Elks is a much better choice for the money and superb conditions
My favorite course
Best overall course in the area. Great grass, treated bunkers and lots of water to top it off. Many other courses a lot closer but this one is worth the drive.
Not a good time.
We tried to play on the best day in about the last 2 weeks. Corse was still water logged(not the courses fault), still snow in the bunkers. Pace of play was very slow due to the course conditions(path only). Again not the courses fault..... We just wanted to play golf on a nice day. Overall, it was still a good day on the golf course.. I would love to play this course in the dead of summer when it is hard and dry.. I think it could be got..
I don't know what the course record is, but I'd sure like to give it a shot under ideal conditions.
Great Scenery
Just an awesome course..played in December and the course was under construction on a couple of holes but that didn't affect the game. I can't wait to play this in the summer. Beautiful landscapes and homes along the course. Each hole is named for a particular reason.
Chilly fall golf
Had course to our selves. Rates are high for November golf. Was asked to pay std rate rather than golf now price. After discussion paid golf now rate. Like the course more than the pro shop help
grest day
Very fun challenging fair uniquestions layout lots of fun great day
Moist Sunday Round
Due to previous rain, it was cart path only. Since I am 60+ with bad knees I dreaded this scenario, but due to the fact that the course is not extremely hilly I managed to get around without problems. It is a good, well cared for course that even though I seldom play it well,is in my second tier of favorite Cincy/Dayton courses.
worth the drive
Course is impecable taken care of fairway bunkers water and can play tough from the tips
Mid Afternoon Sunny Day Round
Played on a day course had two outings, started on back nine, some wait but not too long, as a threesome moved along fairly well. Course overall in excellent shape.ood level tees, plush fairways. fair rough, greens that held shots and rolled fast but true, course has lots of sand traps and a fair amount of water, set amongst a real estate development of single family houses, fairways wide to accept less than perfect tee shots. Only two blemishes were spike marks on greens from heavy play that day and noticeable rocks in sand traps. Clubhouse is an older converted home, signage poor as to where pro shop located. Course had starters for both nines with rangers out on course, coolers filled with cold water. Played from blue tees which were 6,400 yards, black at 7,000 white 5,800, also gold and red each less. Five different tee locations offers a good range to match talent. One of the five best courses I played locally in last two years, price of $13 on golf now was worth the hour drive. Scorecard has map showing each hole with some yardage indicators between tees and sand traps, or trees including size of each green which is helpful. Card also specifies course uses red, white & blue pin placements and same colors marked as yardage indicators on cart paths with yardage also marked on sprinkler heads. Course has a large on site practice area which is nice.
