Choctaw creek

Waste of money. Ran by kids not old enough to sell beer. Carts new and falling apart already. Greens are dormant but show bald spots. City owned and not given attention my opinion. Has potential but needs invested into to improve. Won’t be back

clubhouse

Oddly, we couldn't buy beer in the clubhouse because the kid at the counter was too young to sell it and the person in charge wasn't available. Club house personnel were not the friendliest overall.

Great Atmosphere

The course has a cool layout but the greens need some work. The staff are great and the off course amenities are some of the best around. Just go play it once. You’ll be back because of the people.

Choctaw GC

The course itself was entertaining, almost all blind shots, which makes it difficult to play if you do not know the course. a) Where am I aiming at? The fairways are truly generous, and the layout is mostly fair. The direction of the holes were also confusing . . . Need better location of the signs. Tee boxes need attention, as well as the greens!!!!! There were so many bald spots on the greens. Golf ball bounced everywhere. There were several holes under repair, but we're not marked. The staff was very friendly, both at the Checking counter, and at the Restaurant. I rented clubs, and they were OK to play, the putter needed improvement. Golf bag was definitely great. The golf carts are gasoline operated, which is needed due to the hills. The access throughout the golf course needs desperate improvement.
My booking, and fees came up to $60 dollars. Truly not worth the $60 dollars for the condition of the Golf Course.

Greens?

Usually this course is in pretty decent shape. Greens were really bad this time. I would have liked some communication when booking about the condition of the greens.

Decent but nothing to write home about.

Had a good time, only draw back is it felt very repetitive as the holes are very similar in layout. Hole 17 green was under construction and no one told me about it. All in all a okay course.

Local flavor

Small town country club, that’s seen better days.
Ran out of carts, had to wait 30’ for one to be returned. Greens were in bad shape. Caught the herd at 14.
Dead stop. Quit. Won’t come back.

Was a bland experience.

First time playing this course. I was not impressed. It seemed more like a 15$ course then a 30$ course. First, I had to run back to the clubhouse to get 3 different golf carts. The first two would take 10 seconds before the engine would fire up and move at a snails pace. The third cart was a charm.

The first front nine was in just decent shape, the back nine was in great shape. The cart paths were in terrible shape with tons of standing water. The greens were ok.

Here’s the kicker, this course was so boring to play. Every hole was just like the last. No dog legs, no water (other than puddles), just straight fairways, all 18 of them. It was a really boring course if you’re into challenging holes. The staff does a good job and for some this course may be fine, but definitely not for me.

Great banger course

Great beginner course. Very little trouble. Greens were bad but overall if you're getting started it's pretty forgiving (and teaches you humility to get out of the trouble it does have) with coupons totally worth it.
