Northampton Valley Country Club
About
Northampton Valley Country Club, proudly owned by Northampton Township, the golf course first opened in 1963. It is well known among locals as one of the Greater Philadelphia area's best courses. The layout has a classic design with tree-lined fairways and gently sloped greens. Several strategically placed bunkers lurk along the greens and there are a few water hazards that come into play as well. The par-70 golf course is a manageable 6,400 yards from the back tees. It's a traditional design that is player friendly enough for all skill levels but there are risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low handicappers. In addition to the golf course, Northampton Valley has a driving range with new range balls which is open to the public and a 10,000 sq. ft. practice green with a pristine sand trap for patrons to work on their short game.

First round of the year. Course under repair
Very early in the season. The greens were not pretty. I understand they will be aerated soon which is a good thing because they need it. Also, the bunkers were all under repair, big project. Other than that I always like the layout of this course. It is challenging to put up a good score.
I think the course will be fine in a few weeks.
Ok
The greens and fairways are in decent shape for early on. They are in the process of rebuilding the bunkers. Last year when i played the course was not well taken care of. Tee boxes were terrible. Hopefully what i saw was a commitment to keep it in good shape. Price was 50 for the round. That feels about right. Imagine summer pricing for the weekend will be in the 65 range. High but in prime area so I guess fair. I do like the course design. Favorite hole is par 5 14( i think) with a challenging second or 3 shot. I’ll play there again.
Getting there
So the course is coming along. They were in the process of new sand in the traps so they were all pretty much unplayable. But if you don’t hit into the trap you don’t have to worry about it. Haha. Overall the greens to be rolled but they were decent. We had a fun day and it was beautiful outside. Can’t go wrong!
4 Hour round
After about 4 holes wind picked up a lot. Cart path only, Bunkers were out of play as they have been stripped of sand and are being rebuilt with drains - free lift out. Greens are somewhat lumpy but it is still winter so give it some time to get back in shape.
Course under repair
A little over priced for a course under repair in my opinion
Fun course
Very fun course, great layout. Awesome Par 5 on the back 9, great finishing long Par 3 over water.
Will be real nice when renovations are complete
Played a mid February, winter round , here this weekend and the course played well despite being under a major renovation. This course, when complete, will be a really fun track and it plays longer than the yardage, making it very challenging. We were pleased with our round, full knowing that we were playing golf in the north in the winter.
Winter Golf
Good round in February. A little expensive for a round in the Winter.
Courtesy
The staff very considerate- was late in the after noon. Charged me for 9. & gave me discount. Very considerate was able to get 12 holes in. Thank you.
Best course
Best course I’ve ever went to love everything about it!
Great Muni
Great short course. Is very tricky if you don’t hit your spots. Green speed is always about medium.
First time this year
Have not played there in over a year. It was nice to be back.
Staff was great. Course was in really good shape and the price was right, thanks to Hot Deal
Very well kept fairway and greens
Little to no chunks of fairway missing and greens rolled excellent, pin placement very practical.
