Cheraw State Park
Beautiful course, I've played it a few times now. Conditions great, only knock is the bunkers are quite thin. Greens rolled great.
The course is great
I like playing this course. Always in great condition. Just wish I stayed closer so I could play it regularly.
Best Value Around!
I have heard about this course for years now, but today was my first time playing it! I was impressed. Super friendly staff was very helpful. We did not have a tee time, and they let us get on quickly. The course was in excellent shape! Cannot get over it. At $30… this course plays much like the courses in Pinehurst that are three times the cost! I will be back soon! Greens are slick and read true. Cart paths are in great shape. Such a BEAUTIFUL PLACE for a round of golf. Absolutely serene!
Amazing value
I have no idea how then can charge as little as they do while keeping the facilities and course in such good shape. I drove over an hour to get here because of the great reviews and I was not let down. I will be back for sure.
Friendly, helpful staff. Pace of play was right on target, especially for a warm, sunny Saturday in February. Beautiful scenery, nice layout. Considering, we're playing in the middle of Feb, no legitimate complaints. Will be back in May or June.

Always Great
One of the best courses for the money in the south east.
Greens are almost always at least 4 star.
Most fairways are, if you hit a bad shot, you are only handicaped by distance. Love that most holes are isolated from other holes, so not much distractions from other fairways. One of my 5 favorite courses
Excellent find and value
Cheraw is a great facility. The course is well maintained and in great shape for winter play. It has picturesque views on several holes and is just the right amount of challenge.
Scenic and Challenging Course
Cheraw is a scenic and challenging golf course. The holes are all different and require you to use your head if you can avoid the lake views and the nature preserve.
Virtually perfect
I gave four stars for condition - the only reason I did not give stars is because of the bunker sand, which in some cases are very Stony. If this was corrected this course is truly one of the best and in absolutely great condition
State Park
It’s a beautiful course lots of fun to play I play there as often as I can highly recommend you won’t regret it
