Great Course
Thirteen are several great courses in the hills and this is at the top of the list.
Absolutely amazing!
This is an amazing course. Bring a box of balls, especially 1st timers. Tricky holes and shots.
Also, dont be afraid to ask clubhouse employee the layout, very easy to get off track. Only complaint is lack of gps on carts.
82 From the Blue
Great course from the back tees, particularly the back 9. Stunning views in the Black Hills that remind us why they are sacred to the Lakota Peoples.
The staff is always friendly and it is a well kept course except for the cart paths...
Beautiful Course
Played the course several times now. Fast greens in great shape, a few unique holes. Fun to play
The course is in the southern Black Hills and provides great scenery, with many elevated tee boxes.
The most scenic course in the Black Hills
Beautiful course. Well maintained. So scenic! Fairways are wide and forgiving. It doesn't favor long hitters. It has a few holes that will let you air it out. The doglegs will eat your lunch on the rest of the long holes.
Extra large landing areas left and right of the fairways, where "average golfers tend to land their tee shots. it's a great place to play no matter what your level.
Southern Hills
Played twice in two weeks with family members from out of state. Nothing but praise for the course.
A couple of holes are amazing
Looks like they added the back nine..maybe not, but just doesn't seem to have the same flow. Alot of driving between holes.
We really enjoyed the course.
Very Confusing
The course was nestled in pine trees and lush grounds. The front 9 seemed non-descript and a little bland. Making the turn to 10, I climbed a bit to see the green below. A sign indicated "forward tees below", so I drove back down to see where to tee off. I looked all over, retracing my tracks and still not finding the tee box. A little frustrated I went to #11. The back 9 was more interesting and challenging, however, the biggest challenge was the layout - very confusing. It was a hot day, so the course was quite empty. I did come across one gentleman as I was again looking for the next hole - I told him I was lost. He laughed and said, "yes, it happens here often." There were interesting holes, challenging for good players and the front 9 tame enough for beginners, however, the confusing layout without adequate signage was the most challenging part of this course.
Great find!
Passing through the area I tried this course and found it in excellent condition, friendly staff and locals, very affordable too!! Loved it!
Challenging and fun
challenging and fun course. Greens were fast and in good condition.
