Fairway worker followed us all the way down the first fairway. Made women in our group uncomfortable.

Most well kept course in the northwoods
For the volume of play this year at this course, the conditions are still the best in the northwoods. Hole placement and greens are challenging, but very fair. I’ll keep coming for these reasons alone. I will add that the staff is always friendly and make you feel welcome. Thanks for a great 2020 season in spite of all the health challenges.

A Must Play
Couse was in excellent condition. Fairways closely mown and green super smooth and fast. The greens have a lot of contour and slopes so you must put the ball in the right spot to have a reasonable put for birdie or par. Some tee shots have a narrow opening between trees so use you most accurate club. Finally, play the right tees. If you play a yardage that is too long you'll be hitting fairway woods to a lot of greens. Recommend the gold or gold/white combo unless you are single digit handicap.

Pace of Play and Sand Traps
Got stuck behind a "fivesome". They were "local superstars" with their own golf carts and would not let us play through. Obviously they were regulars who thought they owned the course. As for the sand traps, virtually dirt and no sand,, and lots of pebbles/small rocks.
