Confusing Construction
The construction on the front 9 was terrible. Marshall told me halfway through the round that they had “flipped” the course previous week. Back 9 was in really good shape. No app of mine had the correct course layout and score cards club gave us were all wrong too. Different cards for both carts. Once they are finished “constructing” would be a good course. Wish they would have reduced the rate for their poor planning.
A Disaster
Right from the get go, where to start? Inconvenient/disorganized check-in and cart assignment, regular rates include cart but if you take a “Hot Deal” rate, guess what, no cart, so pay an extra $20, then it ran out of “juice” after 14 holes (but staff was super quick with replacement). So if you have ever seen the movie “Caddyshack” (where they had a gopher problem) - well, this course would need a team of Bill Murray’s and a couple hundred pounds of TNT to fix the problem here! Oh and depending on what you mean by “rough”, here it’s not the grass beside the fairways, it’s the whole place, rough and I mean as rough as it gets, everything about it.
First time need a quick round
Under construction and needs it. Never seen bunkers before with half being weeds growing in it.
Has the opportunity to be a nice course , being narrow and some of the views are nice in higher elevations.
Needs a lot of TLC
The course looks like it has been severely ignored. Bunkers are all rock hard and grown over with weeds. Course hasn't been mowed in what appears to be a long time. Greens are OK, fairways were hit and miss, many were blocked off from carts so it appears they're trying to fix. They are also converting one of the Par 5's on the back to what looks like a Par 3 and a Par 4, so soon this will be a 19 hole course? As if it wasn't quirky enough already. If the conditions are improved (drastically) I'd give it another shot. But not even close to worth the $53 we were charged to play yesterday.
Needs TLC
Could be a really good track. The bones are there and I can imagine what a fun track this was when it saw better days.
Bunkers are unplayable and just about unrecognizable.
Greens are still holding on to life.
Fairways are patchy but playable. Currently punched.
I can see some work underway so I hope they’re putting some effort into restoring what could be a gem.
6100 yards from the tips and $58 for a weekend morning round, so it’s a good place to practice.
Great value, tons of potential, and nice views
Had low expectations going into the cheap round. Welcomed by friendly staff upon arrival who let us know of recent aeration on the back 9. Fairways and greens were fine, and should be great in a week or two. The course layout is awesome, however is a work in progress. Even in the current state, I would play this all day long for $40. This a great low pressure course for any player. Had a great time and will be back! Under 4 hour round.
hidden jewel for intermediate golfers
The bunkers need more sand and to be racked. Bring plenty of balls.
Weeds
Fairway ok but along the fairway the rough weeds were high and thick. Cutting weeds would hurry play up because you could find your ball sooner.
