Freeway Close
After Years of driving by Temecula Creek, I finally said I going to play a round.
Jay greeted me in the club house, got me my tee time and sent me out to the starter and I was on my way.
I chose Stone house first, which to my surprise, played very well, even with all the elevation changes.
I played Temecula Creek, hope that’s correct, next and it was less forgiving, or I was getting tired.
I shot a 39 on Stone House and a 48 in Creek for an 87!
I will play Temecula Creek again soon!
Enjoying a Day During Covid
After driving by it on the 15Fwy for years, I finally took the time to get out and play Temecula Creek.
No regrets what so ever!
I would recommend it to anyone. Stone House is very challenging and very rewarding too!
Oak course is not too difficult, but I had already Mowed the back yard and steam cleaned the living room and the master Bedroom as well, before I went to play the Stone Course, so I was a little spent when I finally started my second 9 on Oaks.
It was still one of my best rounds, 36 on the front Nine and 48 on the back nine!
I will definitely play it gain soon.
Thank You Jay for your great customer service!
Well maintained
The course is in great condition. Staff was friendly, and the price was reasonable. I'll pay there again.
One of the best
I have only been able to play in later afternoons when the sun is hot, but does not even matter. The wind sweeping through the canyons and the tree lined fairways do their best to negate the heat. Stone House is the favorite, but Oaks is really a great play no matter the experience level. Course was in good shape and the pace of play even better. Will be back as often as I can.
Nice experience
I enjoyed the round. The course is in good shape. The practice putting green faster than on the course.
It was windy in the afternoon, greens held and of course it was sunny .
The weekday value is better than weekend based on price. I would play it again.
First time playing. Finished in 3.5 hours on a Sunday which is a +++++. Front nine (Oaks?) was pretty straight forward. Back nine on Stone was a neat layout with a log of dog legs. Started at 8:30 and the course was pretty wet. Sprinklers were set up on quite a few holes so the areas were fairly saturated at some places. Greens were a little beat but mostly because of the Weekend Hacks who didn't repair their divots. Roughs were ROUGH. Didn't hit too wayward but just could not find the ball on some holes.
Surcharge for cart
Nice course, but too expensive when you consider the new $10/player cart fee they tacked on to the green fee. Too expensive. And the carts slow down automatically or turn off when you go out of bounds. Not worth the price.
Too much watering throughout the course. A lot of really soggy, over saturated ground and muddy areas throughout the course, including fairways., In addition, they had several areas with the sprinklers running but the grass was already soggy and slippery and could probably withstand a month without water. You could tell that they have just been watering way too much. Also the golf carts are programmed to very restricted unless you are on the path or fairway. Overall it’s a really nice course, just too wet for me.
Tough 9
Played Oaks/Stonehouse.... With the latter 9 really tough especially from blue tees. Stonehouse lot narrower, fairqays/greens in awesome shape!
Father and Son
Great course. Kinda surprised local zoning didn’t allow food sales on Oak? Weird reminder of big brother in the middle of your round. Also, there were few if any reminders that it was cart path only, so we got stuck a dozen times. Also, no real warning of the no food policy on Oak, by the time we got to the tee box it was too late to go back. Other than that though I would play again.
Sorry you couldn't eat for 9 holes. Unfortunately there are some who leave wrappers and empty cans.
