North Golf Course at Sun City
About
Located just south of Grand Avenue in Sun City, Sun City North Golf Course's trademarks are the doglegs and large trees that are present throughout the course. It has many other challenges to offer including plush, elevated greens and numerous sand bunkers. Placid ponds also create water hazards that come into play on two holes. The well-maintained course is relatively flat with plenty of shade, making it enjoyable to walk. The Sun City North Golf Course facility has several amenities including a putting green and chipping area. There is also a fully stocked pro shop and full service grill and deli.

Cheap but nice
Good 9 hole walking course. Not too hard but need to execute properly. Hot, sunny day makes for a nice walk. Greens were drying out but fair and readable. Good value for the money.
Average
Course was average at best. Greens are nearly rock hard. Balls either hit and ran through or bounced off. Hard to get the ball to stay on.
Enjoyable
Despite some five-somes on the course, our four-some played the course in 4 hours. The greens were in excellent condition with very few straight and level putts, and challenging .
Great Course for 18 hole beginners
I really like this course. The people are so nice and the course is very forgiving even with residential on the sides of the fairway. Cup placements are challenging, fairways and green are well Maintained. I would recommend.
Greens Coming Around
Greens are starting to fill in and have more grass to them making chipping and putting more consistent. Fairways were in good shape. Rough can be thin in spots but should be expected this time of year. Like the layout especially 3 3’s, 3 4’s, and 3 5’s on the back. Played in 3:30 which was really nice.
Bad grouping by manager
I scheduled a single walking for 9:30. I arrived at 8:15, hit balls and putted. At 9:20 I walked toward the first tee and clubhouse announced 5 golfers on tee and single to follow. Talked to attendant and he said two groups “condensed “ to one. I could however wait another 45 minutes to play with a twosome. Three of the players were terrible but since they knew the attendant they were grouped. Will never play there again
Grass in fairways is thin
I felt when using irons that the grass was really thin which does not much gliding wwhen using irons. If grass was thicker, i would of given a better rating.
NO Carts To Rent
After driving 25 minutes to the course we were dumbfound to be told the course has 'zero' power carts or walking carts to rent. Then a snarling remark from the person checking us in, "I guess you just came to the wrong course!" What a stupid thing to say to a customer.
Good course
If you stay on the fairways course is fine. Off fairways even just barely ground rock hard and grass not present. But for money it was a good course.
Good course a little pricey
The course is in very good condition. Pace was good. A little pricey at $69 a round.
Grass a bit thin on hard ground
This is the first time I have played here. I found that this course is in good condition. Fairways are green but very thin grass which can cause irons to bounce off the hard ground. Greens and tee boxes are in good condition. I would given this course 4 stars bit do to ground being hard and thin grass I gave this course a 3 star
