Previously known as The Jackal Golf Club at Mt Brighton. Sprawling across a majestic landscape covered with spring-fed ponds and mature oaks, The Golf Club at Mt. Brighton offers a challenging round as well as stunning scenery. The golf course shares the grounds with a ski resort, guaranteeing a variety of dramatic elevation changes throughout. Club selection is the key to doing well on this course. Accuracy is also an important factor. The tricky greens are balanced by generous, player-friendly fairways. Acres of natural wetlands, including a cascading waterfall, have been incorporated into the design. There are also numerous strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. The layout opens with a dramatic, downhill par 4 that offers a panoramic view of the course. In addition to the golf course, The Golf Club at Mt. Brighton also offers a grass driving range.

Gimicky course
Course is tight, too tight really and way too many blind shots. I was curious to play it since it's on a ski resort, but I would never go back. Electric cart ran out of power on 8th hole. Let me tell you, there are some goat hills to drive up on the front 9. It should cost about $25 to play it, nice course if you don't care.
Very Disappointed
Second time at Brighton. This is a nice course as far as the grounds are concerned. We played on a tough day for them since the traps and fairways were full of water due to weather. I don't fault them at all for that. I do fault them for allowing all tee times to be double booked. I also fault them for their starter allowing people with tee times after us to tee off before us, not pairing up multiple two-somes, not having distances to hazards marked and creating the conditions to have us have to quit on the 14th, no break at the turn. Very poorly run. Icing on the cake, 5 hours in, the ranger had the nerve to tell me my cart was way out of bounds when I was 4 yards off the cart path while parked next to the tee box(not on it) in a perfectly dry area waiting for other golfers ahead of us. I wasn't able to even play 18 after spending 5.5 hours out there. It makes me not want to come back. Very dissatisfied.
We had a great time... A few holes not sure what to hit but we figured it out and had fun!!
Good time
We played Mt. Brighton today and had a lot of fun. The course was in good shape and was fun to play.
Hard
This course is long, tight and tough. There are no easy holes, you also have elevation change on a few holes because it plays on and around a ski hill. This course will test you both mentally and physically. It's like bethpage for normal people. If you cant hit your driver long and straight I would avoid this course or bring a lot of extra balls.
Would only pay $16
This course isn’t worth playing if it’s more than $16.
Disappointed from the pictures that are posted on here.
Best public course in Brighton area
So thankful for this course and the staff that make Mount Brighton my favorite course in the Brighton area!
recommended with an asterisk
It's a weird course. It's built on a ski mountain that's built on a man-made (with landfill) hill. The good thing about that: lots of dramatic elevation changes. The bad thing about that: you're surrounded by ski lift equipment. The course has never been in good shape (inconsistent green speeds, bunkers that are filled with rocks, bald spots in the middle of fairways, ) but the unique layout on the front and a very nice series of holes to start the back nine is something you need to experience at least once. Throughout the course are undulating greens that make it a challenge to get even chip shots close to the hole. There are nicer courses in the area, but you should try this one at least once.
This course is so unique and awesome!
This course is just great! Tons of different golf shots here to be made! I always have a great time here. One of my favorites here in Livingston county!
Great Value
Had a great round at Mt. Brighton with my son. Had played here once before and decided to come back on a GolfNow deal. Glad we did. This course is extremely intriguing with it built on and around a ski mountain. There are some really nice views on the front 9, where you are hitting some tee shots way downhill. Number 9 is an awesome par 3! Pace was good and the ranger was very friendly. Staff inside was friendly. I'd say the only disappointment was that the grill was not open for lunch, as they were getting ready for a wedding. All and all, a great round!
Nice elevation.
The nice part of this course is the change in elevation. It feels like you’re playing a course up north. The conditions were good the course was in great shape.
Nice course
Enjoyed playing the course again, very hot and wet though.
Unique
Very Unique course. Require precise shot making, if this course had better conditioning it would be awesome. Def worth the okay if you love playing good golf courses. My only complaint would be slow greens, condition was on par with the value. Check it out if you haven’t played it!!
