Diamond Valley Golf Club is an easy drive into Hemet Valley from a number of locations including San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles. Though it's easily accessible, the course is tucked away in the San Jacinto Mountains, offering a feel of peaceful seclusion. The layout encompasses a variety of terrain, from scenic waterscapes to lush, rolling hills covered with native plants and grasses. With dramatic elevation changes from tee to green, this course isn't walker friendly, which can easily be overlooked if you're looking for a truly formidable test. The sloping nature of the landscape lends a different character to each hole and the elevated tees provide panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. One of Diamond Valley Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-3 17th. It's as scenic as it is challenging, requiring a short iron to wedge shot over a cascading waterfall.

OASIS IN THE DESERT
I was out in Hemet for business. Actually made a wrong turn and got lost in the middle of no where when I spotted this lush looking golf course. What the heck I thought. This course was in the best shape I have seen a public course in so cal since drought. Fairways are green , soft and just perfect (wish I spent more time there). Rough is cactus sagebrush and rocks (wish I spent less time there) greens are fast and tiered. Water holes are beautiful and overall the course just a great place to spend a half day. Worth the drive. Clubhouse is just a place to check in. They have some pre-made sandwiches and hot dogs (cooked in a microwave) canned beers and sodas. All and all best wrong turn I ever made.
"This course is worth playing"
You definitely want to play here if you haven't! The grounds are well kept, the staff is friendly. The scenery is just breath taking. No houses around just a beautiful course!
Bang for your buck$$$$
Nice course kept in pretty good shape. It's a great bang for your buck! I'm sure people in hemet want to keep it a secret!!!!
Good track
This is easily the best deal in So Cal. Worth a trip to find it. The booked tee time was only $20. For that you can ride, play a challenging course with 5 different tee sets. Course design is excellent wetlands routing. Enough water and hazards to keep your attention. The greens rolled well and were in nice shape. The fairways were less contoured, but playing Winter Rules, made me forget some patchy lies. A real fun course to play, in my opinion.
Good value on a great day
The course itself was in fair condition. The fairways and rough were good. The greens were pretty bumpy but could have been worse. The real travesty were the tee boxes, they were beat. Staff was good. The pro shop selection was lacking. Overall the price was way too good. I would play again, and for such a great deal I can deal with the shortcomings.
Very poor Management...
I like this course but its getting harder and harder to deal with the people running this course. They are understaffed with only two people working there each day and they will not check you in or give you a cart until 5 minutes before your tee time. They have no starter or marshal to keep any type of control over tee times or pace of play. They are also one of those courses that seem to get upset if you book your tee time on golf now and want to treat you differently if you do. This course needs a management change or they will start (and already have) losing more and more business.
Tuck away
It might be somewhere in the middle of no where but it's n awesome course with challenging holes and it's worth the money.. Play it yourself nd be the judge
beautiful
Joyce is so nice! We love her!!!
DV is in good shape.
The course is in good shape right now. Seems to be every year around this time. Greens are nice and fairways are decent. I have always loved the layout of this track. Good value for the price.
good day
good day, good course, good greens
Hidden gem
Well worth the money for out of the way course.
Great course
Even though the fairways are browning it is still a favorite. Greens were good speed and smooth. And hey it was $15 and with the $3 booking fee and a $10 coupon 8 bucks ain't bad.
Recommended for sure.
Plenty of water to keep out of and enjoy.
What a nice course with nice staff. I played with a member who helped with where to aim. It was slow, but I was not in a hurry and enjoyed chatting with the member who lived on the course next to a fairway. I attempted to play it again with my son-in-law and daughter who flew in from CA for a convention, but the weather changed to storms. I will try to play it next time I'm in Florida.
Love this course
I love this hidden gem! It can play as 2 different courses from the Blue and White tees. Staff is great and always get paired up with great people. Always a fun day of golf.
17th beautiful golf hole
good condition, friendly staff, easy to get to. good value. greens putt true.
Worth the trip!
With Palm Desert golf rates now exceeding $100 for the top courses, we ventured west to Hemet and were pleasantly surprised at the excellent track that Diamond Valley provided. Despite the rather yellow appearance of the course, the fairways and greens were in excellent shape. The staff in the pro shop were friendly and accommodating but none to be found maintaining the course while we were there and the bunkers needed it. Worth the hour's drive? Most definitely! Having also golfed at Oak Valley, Soboba Springs and Tukwet Canyon in the past, there is value to be found if you don't mind the drive from the Palm Springs area. Do the outlet mall or casino on the way back and it's an excellent way to spend the day!
Fair golf for a fair price
A little out of the way maybe but for a very reasonable price it's worth a day of your life ! The course is okay considering the harsh weather and environment, greens pretty good. Play was a bit slow as there was a 5 ball further ahead. Why do they allow this ?
Nice course
Worth the drive to Hemet ideal temperature great value and layout
