About
Hammock Creek Golf Club, a Jack Nicklaus Legacy Design, is a fabulous daily fee layout on the Treasure Coast of Florida. Opened in July of 1996, the Club has hosted several local, state, and national competitions. Featuring five sets of tees from 5,045 to 7,131 yards, the golf course is a favorite for both locals and snowbirds alike. The practice facility offers one acre of celebration turf to satisfy the most ardent game improvement golfers. The centerpiece of the Hammock Creek community though is the clubhouse, which completed an extensive renovation in October of 2020. The restaurant, verandahs, and dining deck offers breakfast and lunch daily, with a variety of daily and weekly specials to quench your thirst and satisfy your appetite.

Haven’t played in years! Course is still awesome! Glad I went back.
Very good
The course is in a very good shape. Nice lay-out and very good fairways. They had an issue with the greens, but They are in a good shape and it didn’t effect the putts. Very friendly staff and good clubhouse and shop. We loves playing it!

Course & Staff in Great Shape
No problems whats so ever @ HC. Friendly check-in and cart staff went along with a course in good shape despite so heavy rain overnight. The only blemish keeping this course from getting the highest rating is the fact that a lot of greens seem to have some kind of fungus that is killing patches on just about every one. It really didn't effect the putts and you can see that the course recognizes the problem and are trying to correct it. It didn't keep me from playing there & it shouldn't keep you, if you're looking for a very nice course to play. Hope the problem comes under control.

Beware
I played this course a couple of months ago and the course was in great shape. Can't say the same for today. They have big issues with the greens. Dead spots on most of the greens make this course a poor value. Don't believe I'll be back unless they can prove to me that conditions have greatly improved.

First timer
I was impressed by the friendliness of staff. We only played the front nine due to heat and playing partner got dizzy. The course provided rain checks without any hesitation

Nice course and staff
For a day with rain on again/off again it was a fun round of golf. Staff was friendly and helpful. The course was in very good condition. The course is straight forward with no tricks or hidden hazards. It is a nice course to play.

Dissappointed in this visit
I will start with an overall Hammock Creek should be a go to course for anyone in the area. Usually great experiences with quality conditions and friendly staff.
However, I was Very disappointed in my last visit to an otherwise great course in the area. Tee boxes were a mess. Greens were decent.
Didn’t know rain checks were not available after 3pm. Maybe my fault for not reading if signs were available. Storms rolled in after we played 6 holes. Went to clubhouse for rain check and was told no rain checks after 3.
Not happy about level of customer service or the shape of the course at the time.
Plenty of options to play great courses off season so it will be awhile before I venture back.
Hammock creek
Greens are great, tee boxes are great, traps and fairways we in nice shape
Love the layout
Booked online for 2. We were paired up with a couple that were very pleasant to play with. The course is in good shape for all the rain we have had lately. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in great shape. However the bunkers are washed out and need new sand. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Coarse is in great shape
Played Sunday the April 15th. Really Good fast greens. And really good shape tee to green. Played as a twosome and was let through a foursome on 8. And had the back all to ourselves it felt like.

Great course, great practice facility, great round.
A little expensive for me but not overpriced at all. Well worth the price to play on the well manicured fairways, and smooth fast greens. Nice jack Nicklaus design with wide enough fairways yet enough bunkers to remain challenging. Range grass is beautiful as well as practice chipping and putting greens. Always enjoy hammock creek. Would play it much more if I could afford it.

A Perfect Day
I haven't played here for a couple of years and for the life of me I can't come up with a good reason for not playing here more often. Staff were warm and friendly. One of my pet peeves is going to a course that doesn't have a complete practice area. Not here. Chipping, bunker and driving range were excellent. Large putting green with a big hill on one end should give you a clue what to expect out on the course. Course condition wasn't perfect but close to it. Kudos to the staff for keeping it in great condition. Leave your ego in the parking lot, pick the right tee box and you'll have a wonderful time at Hammock Creek.
