Worker
The gentleman that worked the front desk was super rude.
Paradise Valley
Course was okay, greens were terrible- looks like was aerated not to long ago. When your ball hit a bunch of sand popped up. Courses should give you a discount when they are not in good condition.
Skip it
Not what I was expecting. Fairways did not exist. Just weeds and haphazard patches of grass. Giant soccer holes often blocking the green and approach shots. Cart path was like driving through a mine field. Holes and obstacles throughout for you to avoid if you want to save your spine. This place needs some major improvements everywhere. Spend a little more money and find another course.
Terrible
Terrible: the course was extremely dry, in terrible condition and not even remotely landscaped; Greens were burned out and rough. Pace of play was good because nobody else was on the course. Such a shame! Great location, but poorly maintained and managed.
Its ok
They offer club rental, 9 hole play. Course is barely maintained but its $25 to play. Too bad city doesnt have more pride. Website could provide better or more info. The patrons are local and friendly enough but at $25 the wierdos are out too. Not too many extras, kitchen people are nice and work hard even for the wierdos. Pro shop service is ok, friendly? Not really. Did i mention its about $25 a round? Ill play there agian when i just want to get our there and hit the links.
Poor quality
Very horrible course, do not recommend anyone playing here. The tee boxes are just hard packed mud that you can’t get a tee into. What is supposed to be a fairway is nothing but neglected grass and covered in the tree leaves and bark. Once you do get on what is supposed to be a green it’s nothing but sand with a little bit of green grass. Good luck putting for how rough the green is. Cart path is all dirt and by 7:30 is mud. No on course restrooms or drink cart, stations, nothing. The staff were the rudest people you could have running a course. It’s too much to check people in and run the business. Will not be going back to this place. Go to a real course if you want to play
The greens
Missed a LOT of birdie and par putts due to the bouncing of the ball. The holes and sand do not help.
The greens
Had a great time playing. However, there is one thing that needs to be addressed there. The greens have SOOOO much sand on them the pitches were just going thru. Nothing would grab. Even a flop shot skidded away. Needs to be fixed.
Good for Price
It’s $25 to play 18 holes. Don’t expect the world, great course to practice and have fun with some buddies. Do I wish the course had better greens? Yes. But again it’s $25 so it’s all good, I play it a few times a year. It’s slower since a lot of par 3’s so bring a speaker, buy some beers and have a good time.
Paradise Valley
OKAY value for the money. Driving range OK, good putting and chipping areas, course OK but busy which slowed pace. Nice place to tune up iron play. Best described as pasture golf. Greens kept better than fairways. Sand traps hard enough to putt out of. Cart paths sucked!
Fun course for a quick round
Executive course, mostly par threes, with a few par fours and one par five. Staff in the pro shop were very friendly and helpful. Golf carts are gas powered, clean and dependable. No GPS. Decent condition on fairways, some bare dirt and long grass off the fairways. Greens were very good and putts rolled true. Cart paths were mostly dirt with many potholes and deep puddles of standing water. Very few golfers on the day we played so pace of play was excellent. Overall a fun course to play.
Value
Shorter course, but can't beat the price and pace of play. Great chipping green, and friendly staff.
Needs improvement
The condition of the course has deteriorated over the years. Weeds and crabgrass grow on the fairways and the greens are in poor condition. It is less expense than other courses in the area but still overpriced.
