Located in the west valley, the golf course at Coyote Lakes Golf Club combines a desert landscape and traditional design with scenic views of the White Tank and Bradshaw Mountains. Although it is modest in length and suitable for all players, the course is still an enjoyable challenge for even advanced golfers. The front nine is more difficult than the back nine with large greens and several contours. The back nine is also challenging though with several notable holes. The fairways are undulating on both and water hazards come into play on several holes. Coyote Lakes Golf Club's signature hole is the 14th, a par-3 hole that requires a shot from an elevated tee to a green that is well protected by two sand bunkers and a lake to the left.

Not good

Course is in terrible shape. All 18 tee boxes have thicker rough than Torrey pines. No ranger tending to pace of play. Got stuck behind 2 foursomes trying to get their tour card. Greens are pitted to the point your ball it being kicked up the slope. $25 course at best. Spent the extra $15-$20 and enjoy a round somewhere else.

Not good

Tee boxes have grass or no grass. Fairways are bad, greens are very bumping and long . Very good driving course off the tee box and narrow. If this course was in good condition it’s worth 85.00 BUT not now. 50.00 maybe. Avoid this one. I’ll let everyone when I find a good by.

Terrible conditions

The management should be ashamed to charge the high fee for this very poorly maintained golf course.

A desert course in the middle of a neighborhood. Variety of holes. Greens in good condition but some thin spots in the fairway. Played in 4 hours on a Sunday afternoon starting at 11:30. Great pace of play. I will come back.

Fun Course - Horrible Pace of Play

First off i want to lead with this.
I would play this course every weekend if just a couple things improved.
Pros:
1. Staff were just amazing awesome and attentive.
2. Pam the cart lady is my new favorite person.
3. Course was fun and overall had some challenges but still nice for someone who is still learning or wanting to learn.

Cons:
1. Pace of Play - this is the #1 reason I most likely won't be coming back to this course. It was so frustrating to see golfers taking more than one shot when teeing off, in the fairway, chipping, putting. It was sad to see that the 2 groups in front of us just didn't care about anything but themselves. I will be checking back into this course into the future to see if this major issue has improved. ( Traditionally it takes me 3-1/2 - 4 hours to golf give or take. I couldn't complete the course in 5 hours because of the pace of play I was able to play 16 Holes. )
2. I understand space can be an issue so this one is not the end of the world. The driving range is small and you can't use any long clubs. Again, not the end of the world when really they have a nice chipping a putting area for you to warm up on.

Again loved the course overall and the people working there but I won't be coming back until they figure out how to have a fun pace that is reasonable.
