Old Orange at Verandah

THIS IS ONE OF OUR FAVORITE COURSES. IT IS FRIENDLY AND VERY ENJOYABLE TO PLAY NO MATTER WHAT YOUR HANDICAP MIGHT BE. WE PLAY THERE AS OFTEN WE CAN, BEING ALERT FOR OCCASIONAL GOOD RATES.

Some of the greens were unfair in the Nicklaus's style which made me think Who did he build the course for? Certainly not the average golfer. But all the fairways were really wide and getting into trouble off the tee was a challenge. Very nicely maintained with lots of tees to choose from.

Lots of small hills and slopes on fairways and greens and ample opportunity to find water and sand hazards add to the difficulty from every set of tees. This course is worth a visit even with a light rain making conditions more challanging. Good practice facilities also a plus.

It was our first time and after reading other reviews excued to play. We got a great rate playing late in day. It was really busy at the clubhouse and felt rushed to get out to the course. We met the starter and were given a score card but no information about the course. We had no pictures of the directions of each home and the hazards on the course. After completing each hole it was not clear where the next tee was located. Some of the distances were quite lengthy. There were no sign to direct. We actually missed the 15th and 16th hole and did not realize it until after completing 17. The greens were very difficult and having some information of what hazards surrounded them would have been really helpful. So, overall a little frustrating not having any information about the layout of the course.

Excellent service from all employees. Course is an outstanding layout. Highly recommend this course, for me it was worth the drive from Marco Island.

very nice course. Would recommend to anyone.staff was very friendly and accommodating. Course condition was very good. Greens were smooth and fair. Pace of play was very good less than 4 hours

We absolutely loved the course, the price was incredible the people were friendly. The course conditions were absolutely perfect.

A must play if you are in the area. Could not be more scenic or in better condition. Greens are fast and true, the layout is second to none.

The course was excellent, the golf was horrible. A very beautiful setting. If given the chance, do not hesitate to play this course. Plenty of water and woods so be sure to bring plenty of balls.

Played the course with my son and a friend for the first time on Father's Day. The cart staff and clubhouse service was excellent. Very professional and made us feel like we were members. There is nothing bad to be said about the facilities or the course itself. It's a must play facility (with 36 holes) if you're in the Ft. Myers area. We did get rained on but the course held up to the rain.

is a very good golf course for good player and callenging

Course was in great shape for this time oof year. Will play again soon,. Does need GPS on the golf carts.
Hard to find distances.

Well run, excellent practice facility's, nice clubhouse, restaurant etc.
