Old Orange at Verandah

Old orange is a wonderful course that offers a little of everything. As always it was in great shape and the greens were rolling fast. It's more than worth my hour drive.

Have played a dozen different courses in the Fort Myers / Cape Coral area and Old Orange at Verandah was ny far the best to date we have played. Friendly staff, excellent course conditions". A book with the layout of each hole would have been nice but it wasn't a must have.

The course is in excellent condition and the pace of the play is good. This is the best condition that I have seen this course. The staff and the patrons are super friendly. I would recommend this course for everyone..

Great facility, entertaining starter. Nice wide fairways, but you have to know which part of the green you should aim to. Very undulating greens cost nerves. Much wasting areas don't catch our attraction as it's hard to play out of But overall a nice place to play.

We have played Old Orange several times in the past and always remark about how well it is conditioned and the great greens. A very user friendly golf course, we look forward to our next round at Verandah.

Very fun and challenging course! Maintained in pristine condition with very undulating greens. Staff was very friendly!

played the old orange course and will return. verandah had a nice practice facility and conditions were very good on the course. greens rolled nice at an 11.5 that day. will play again and also check out the whispering oak course. one downside to me would be the fact that there were no pictures of the hole on either the card or tee box. hit a few balls that i thought were right down the middle that ended up finding water that you cannot see from the tee.

Have played here now several times and have
never been bored. Cupp did a tremendous job
in this design and usage of the terrain. You will
use every club, very challenging but very fair.
Conditions always great and greens tough.... don't
read too much into break, but don't be above the
hole! Course can set up totally different on any
day with tee and pin placements. Could play this
one every day!

Very impressed by this course. Greens were immaculate! I've seen PGA tour greens in worse condition than these. Greens are large, but undulating by Florida standards. If you miss in the right spots, you can score well. Only paid $60 for 18 holes, which was an absolute steal during the peak season. One of the best courses I've played in the area

One of the best courses I played. 5T decks, great layout,great value,played after 2 o'clock ,great conditions.

one of the top best sw florida courses excellent condition, fast running but consistant large greens. multiple tees, challanging bunkers. friendly staff and best of all, 4 hr round. highly recommend all golfers to play old orange.

Very good quality course, hard but fair. Greens rolled very true! When checking in they could give better directions to where to go.

Beautiful course in excellent shape. Great practice facilities and a wonderful overall experience. An excellent value for the money. Would play there again in a heartbeat.

Everything you want in a golf course! Playable, challenging, attractive without killing the budget.

Conditions very nice, but have played better conditioned courses.
One person in pro shop wasn't the friendliest, others were great.
Drinks in the bar were great, triple shots in each.
Price was OK, have paid more for poorer conditioned courses and have paid less for better conditioned courses.

Course was pretty muh excellent in all aspects. A little slow going with a lady,s member event on at the same time. Good value, only because of golf now.Otherwise this course is over the top for a golfer like myself who is in the high 90's.

Enjoyed playing this course. Fast pace of play, moderately challenging and in great condition. Considering the cost of many of the venues in the area, this course delivers value as well.

Fairways are quite wide, somewater hazards interfere maliciously to the game. Undulating greens are challenging. Around the front nine is unadjusted

I would recommend this course and will play it again before I go home There is water on almost every hole on the course and if you spray your shots the penalty strokes will add up The staff was friendly and answered any questions that I had. They also returned a club to me that I had left on the driving range. There are multiple tee boxes for all levels of ability.

Played the Orange. Really windy which made it much harder. Greens are very big with a lot of undulation. Huge fairways and lots of water. Greens are really fast. Typical FL. flat course but a lot of character. Cupp designed this 18 which is much better than the Nicklaus designed other 18. My opinion. Pro shop prices are pretty high. Not really a course for novices; can 3 and even 4 putt pretty easily. Probably the best course in Ft. Myers area. 17th hole is really pretty although huge sand traps in front are strange.
