Hole # 8. Awesome !! Photo submitted by strybosch
This is me on one of the more difficult par 5's. If you play it and your a long ball, play it to the right fairway...You can make it...Lol.. Photo submitted by Robert5455343

Course in great shape
The starter Jim is great. He worked me as a single out early with a twosome with no one in front of us. Tees, fairways and greens in nice shape although the greens were a little slow. Both courses are must plays and worth my 50 minute drive.
Reminds me of the courses I enjoyed back home in Northern CA. Lots of oak and challenging greens. Staff was excellent.
These courses at Woods World are the best twosome in Florida. You could spend alot more and not play a better layout or have better conditions. And no housing any where.
Kudos to the starter at Rolling Oaks course who got us out early to be able to finish prior to the rain!
Challenging, Fun, Beautiful Course
I have played rolling Oaks several times before and each time I have a great time and love the course. The course has lots of beautiful looking golf holes with stunning natural beauty in excellent condition.
Course conditions were excellent. Fairways, bunkers, tee boxes, and greens were in EXCELLENT condition. The greens roll true. The greens have lots of humps, undulations and slopes which make them a challenge and very fun.
For the price, both of these courses are absolute must plays. Pine Barrens will challenge your entire game, and Rolling Oaks will give you unparalleled beauty and scenery.
The only drawback is the small, limited clubhouse, but the friendly staff make up for any drawbacks.
All in all, an A+ must play course on a great tract of completely natural land.
Played with son on a cool Florida day. Second time for me and first for my son. This layout is very good. Tees and greens were good. Fairways were not as nice as they could be since the overseed did not take effect yet. But that did not take away a great day of golf at one of Florida's top 3 public golf complexs. Would definitely be back. Great value with email specials. Bill and Dave and all of the starter and ranger staff should be commended for their hard work and giving us a great time. Have referred many golfers to World Woods in the past and will continue to refer them in the future when they come to the Tampa Bay area. Thanks again.
Perfect conditions as always. Played in 3 hours on a nearly empty course. Greens were perfect and a good speed. Struggled off the tee but great short game got my score down to 78. Great value using reward to get cost to 30.00.
Played on a cooler day. Course wide open. Green were in great shape. Fairways were excellent. No complaints at all.
The course was beautiful. The staff was very friendly. Great experience. I will definitely return.
The weather was perfect and the course is absolutely perfect. Fast greens, fairways had some roll. Can't wait to play again!!
Great challenging layout.
Plenty of sand traps to avoid on the fairways and well protected greens. Would play again anytime.
The green was beautiful but tough to read. The fairways are permissive and in good shape.
Dave's transition day
Played rolling oaks today as foursome nice course no homes around course which I liked ,some.washouts from heavy rain.so there was some water issues.
Paid 6.50 for range ball and got a small bag of balls maybe 30 balls in it really!
I quess we were expecting a bit more because of the 4.5 rateing nice course but we didn't rate it that high .
Great test of shot making (RO).
Generous fairways but bunkers are strategically designed to test your skill set. You must manage each shot, however you are not severely punished on miss shots. Pine Barrens is a much tougher test. Plenty of enjoyment can be found at Rolling Oaks.
Beautiful course . Playing from back tee. Go back again!!!
