Green Mountain
Took 6 hours to play 18. Groups were bunched way too close together after a group that was running late teed off the next one was already on their heels. No gaps in start times created a tremendous wait the whole round.
Go
Good variety of hole types keeps this course interesting. Greens were medium fast and consistent. Can't think of a reason not to go play again.
Green Mtn.
Fun course, not too hard.. I was surprised how few players were on it at 10:30am on a 80 degree sunny day..
Good course for intermediate players
The only thing I didn't like was the greens were slow. But overall a good course, and was fun to play
Slow but a good value
Our foursome played behind a threesome fresh from the Asian tour and pushed them for 15 of 18 holes
Greens were in good shape but inconsistent in speed
great hot deal
A little soggy due to recent rains. It was not crowded so pace of play was excellent.
Beginner course
Flat and straight for the most part. Little bit of trees and water. Course didn't have fairways mowed and bunkers were rock hard. Great for beginners for the price but wouldn't recommend to anyone descent unless it's for $18 or less
Green Mountain
I like this course, it is fair test and you need different clubs off the tee boxes, during the summer super test of golf, during the rainy season course can be playable but only for the true golf addict, it gets wet easily and some people cant handle wearing Mudders and gaiters
Farm course
This course definitely has potential. Greens were in good shape, but rest of course was not. This is the rainy season, but the course drainage is extremely poor. Every single step was sloppy. Fairways weren't groomed, or even mowed....very likely due to the fact that the course was sooo soft.
Clubhouse is 80%empty, no food to speak of except a power bar and chips.
terrible condition
Plugged 14 balls on the front nine. Soggy, mucky and not suitable for play!
Virtually unplayable...
because of poor drainage on the fairways and greens. Ball plugging on nearly every hole. No pride in course appearance...beer cans, garbage strewn about, downed trees, last year's dead weeds, etc.
Not a good winter course
The greens are good, but the course has soft fairways, and does not drain well. Because it is so wet the course can't be mowed as often as it needs to be; so the fairways and rough can be too high; and you can plug and lose balls everywhere. Consequently, you will be searching for your ball much of the time. I lost 3 and found 2 others. The course does have some interesting holes and would be fun to play when it dries out.
January 2015
Greens were nice everything else was soggy and muddy. It was expected for this time of year
plan on loosing balls
The fairways were so saturated I lost 4 balls before I finished the front 9...... Very frustrating
Very poor
Very wet every ball plugged fairways and greens no drainage.
Straight forward course with some challenging holes. Easy to walk.
For a golf course going out of business, the course is in good condition. Fairways and greens are nice. I will be going back.
Fun course with beautiful view
This is not a course for the elite golfer probably, but for an average hacker like me, I really love this course. I will be sad to see if go, if that is the plan. I've enjoyed playing here and have fond memories of many rounds played here.
Goat Trail / Cow Pasture
Simply nothing more then the worse golf course in the Portland/Vancouver metro area.
Don't wast your time...
Love to play this course
I play here often and really enjoy the experience. Some good challenges....fairways are forgiving. Greens a tough to read sometimes. Hate to see this place go...
