Hole 4 at Old Corkscrew is a reachable par 4, but there's a lot of danger to avoid. Photo submitted by TimGavrichGP on 02/23/2018

Difficult course, but unbelievably awesome experience
Great course and experience from top to bottom. Staff was friendly and always looking to accommodate their guests, from the starter, to the bag drop folks, and the people in the pro shop. Many opportunities to get drinks and snacks on the course from the snack cart. GPS carts were great (and probably a must for a 1st timer).
We teed off 15 minutes early and played by ourselves (two-some). We played from the white tees which i think was around 72.0/138. And from conversations with other golfers in the area, we knew that this was going to be a difficult course in relation to the other courses we’d played in the area.
It definitely was challenging and you had to think about every shot you took. For reference, I shot a 83 at Stoneybrook and a 79 at Panther Run in the two previous days, and ended up shooting an 88 here. As a lover of golf, this was by far my most favorite course of the three.
I was looking for a challenge and I definitely got my fair share on the back nine. But the condition of the course was awesome. The greens, though fast and undulating, were in great shape and provided a fun challenge (they weren’t out of control ridiculous). The layout of the course was awesome and spread out.
As an avid birdwatcher, the wildlife on the course was great too. I expected to see more gators, but we might have only seen 1 or 2. Plenty of birds to go around.
My father played the course and thought it was awesome and beautiful, but as a more novice (but experienced) golfer, he was a little frustrated with the course. When you get in trouble, you’re in real trouble. It’s tough around the green. Bottom line is that it’s a difficult course. It’s not a course that you see that the next hole is a par 4 and automatically pull out the driver. I teed off with a handful of irons on several par 4s. I had to get creative with my sand wedge a handful of times.
I would go back here over and over again. I loved the challenge. I’m not sure if I could get my father to go back. But this was a memorable course for me and will remember this course much more than the other two courses we previously played.
Wow! Longest round ever!!!!!
It should not take 5 hrs and 10 min to play a round off season.
20-30 minute wait on several holes to tee off. Rumor was that they let 2 (3 somes) get together and play as a 6-some. Tee’d off right on time at 10:52 and finished at 4:00. No Marshalls to fix the problem. Miserable!!!!! Amazing course and super friendly staff.
Old Corkscrew
Great place. Difficult, but not impossible. Staff is friendly and helpful. Scenery/wildlife is fantastic with no homes on the course
Incredible!
Absolutely stunning! Course is in immaculate condition. Every hole is challenging yet very fun. Yes, the greens are slower than other courses in the area, but I think that is necessary given the undulations on the greens. Will definitely be back!
Course in Great Shape
I always enjoy this challenging course. I was pleased to see that last year’s problem with some of the greens has been resolved, and the entire course was in very nice condition. Wish my own game was in such good condition…
great visit with nature
couse was in very good condition . One of our favorite couses in the naples area. My wife loves the feel with no houses in site
Great value
Played with my two son, they both loved it. Course was in good shape and staff were helpful. Nice round of golf with the boys. Very happy with Old Corkscrew.
Amazing course, I highly recommend anyone in the area to try it out!

Terrific golf course. Challenging and beautiful.
Lots of sand traps to avoid and they especially come into play for the women if playing the women's tees.
