Bad shape
Course is in bad shape. Had to wait multiple times for staff to help me with range balls and buying stuff in the shop. Greens had massive holes in them and none of them were smooth. Fairways almost nonexistent and extremely uneven and bumpy everywhere. Landing in the fairway was basically landing in a bumpy dirt pile. Bunkers hard as a rock with no sand in them.
Nice views
Had two 5 players team making us all wait.
Gut tired and bored and only played 14 holes.
At one time 3 different teams standing at same hole. Waiting on those two teams.
Beautiful day for golf
We teed off at 12:30 in the afternoon and we let several single players through as we weren’t in any hurry.
The course is coming along since I played last month the grass is finally getting green- just needs more water. The greens are better as well and filling out- not so bumpy now from the punching and sand top dressing. Should be real nice the first week of May.
Greens in need of repair
Not sure what the issue is but several of the greens are in dire need of repair. I played the same day they were hosting a kids tournament so I thought they would have prepped the course but I was mistaken.
WATER!
The course needs water desperately. Greens and tee boxes are terrible.
Golf course in bad shape.
Fairways missing grass. Greens need improvement. Sand traps need more sand.
Not Worth It - As of 03/30/2025
The course is in bad shape as of 03/31/25 - Not worth your time and money. Sorry to say
Poor conditions
Had not played the course in a year. Conditions are embarrassingly poor give the layout and challenge. The tee boxes and fairways are dirt and hardpan. Hope some rain water arrives sooner than later.
It was the middle of a work day so not many people trying to get on the course. It is also middle of winter so the only green grass was the greens lol. The Marshalls were very friendly offering advice and even talking about other course in a positive light. Hoping they can keep this pace of play close to what it was today when they days get warmer.
Improving conditions
Course is in better shape than the last time I was there. My biggest issue was my white balls were hard to see with the dead grass from winter. It was a little cold but not too bad. I finshed in under four hours.
appearance of a driving range
Fairways are baked to near dirt, and bunkers are mostly collections of dusty dirt, not sand. However, the greens are pretty good!
