Bristol Oaks Golf Club and Banquet Center is situated just 30 minute from the suburbs of both Milwaukee and Chicago. It is popular among locals for being one of the area's best values. Despite its convenient location, the course feels tranquilly secluded thanks to the miles of picturesque countryside surrounding it. Mature trees dot the rolling landscape, coming into play along the fairways and framing most of the holes. Water hazards come into play on four holes. Strategically placed bunkers are also lurking near most of the greens. The golf course is challenging but offers a playability that makes it appealing to a range of skill levels. Four diverse sets of tees make it even more approachable. There is also a lighted grass driving range and expansive chipping and putting areas available at Bristol Oaks Golf Club and Banquet Center.

One of My Favorites

I always enjoy playing this course. Course is in very nice shape and the staff was accommodating as usual.

Quite busy for an early Friday afternoon. Which of course meant there were going to be few foursomes marking every putt and parking carts where they don't belong. So that backed things up a bit as expected. We're not on TV folks. Let's pick it up just bit. Half a hole faster makes it a better experience for everyone.

Great value!

Bristol Oaks is a great value for the money not too far from the northern suburbs. The staff was accommodating when we were a few minutes late.

It was bright and sunny, and windy as could be saturday. Solid gust and winds. But a buetiful dan none the less. Greens were taking balls and speed was consistent. Well groomed and considereding the rain we had for the week faily dry. The staff was great. Had a great experience played with a walk onhad a great time. Cant wait to go back.

Good deal but rough conditions

Course was very dry due to lack of rain and no irrigation. Wasnt a bad deal from golfnow for 9 holes and a cart so we made the best of it. The greens were in very rough shape as they were not watered and cut very short. Would like to play again after the greens fill out a little and we get some rain.

The greens were in excellent shape

The front desk was friendly. The starter was courteous and willing to talk about the course and other subjects of interest. The greens had been rolled, the night before and were very smooth and true. The yard markers were accurate. The pace of play was pretty good, especially considering that the course seemed pretty well booked.

Keep it straight

A lot of trees line the fairways. They do a good job of trimming, so you can find your ball, and may even have a shot at the green if you can keep it low. Much more fun playing from the fairway. Well maintained and the greens ran true. Played early in the morning, so I was done in just over 2 hours for 18. If anything, I played too fast and rushed some shots (hence the experience with the trees).

Top Shelf!

Have been playing this course for years, & never a disappointment. They treat us well, rules are reasonable, & course maintenance is right on the button.. They're in a tough, weather sensitive location, but come though every time anyway. Glad to spend time/$ with this place.

greens terrible, cart was not avail, but paid for, not mowed.

we went in 55 degree december weather, so no high expectations. However, they hadn't cut any greens, fairways, rough or anywhere in a long time. the greens were unplayable due to the recent aeration, which they never disclosed. play was cheap because it was december ($10.50 per person for 18 w/cart) but the manager/owner was there and he was visibly upset at our rate and was treating his employees badly. he tried to sell me a golf pass for next season, but at $10.50 for 18, i told him no thanks. it was nice to get out in december though...

nice course, friendly staff

this course was very well maintained for so late in the season, the staff is very accomidating and friendly. The course is challenging with some holes having water or bunkers directly in front of the green. I have played here quite a few times and enjoy it every time
