Conklin Players Club

About
Conklin Players Club is one of the best golf courses that the greater Binghamton area has to offer. It's easily accessible if you're located in northeastern Pennsylvania. The course is known for its consistently immaculate conditions as well as its interesting design. The layout has a nice flow that seamlessly blends a variety of different holes. Accurate shot placement is key on this up-and-down golf course. It's not a terribly long layout but there are several challenging tests in store. You almost forget about the difficulty of the course though when you're faced with the beautiful scenery. The views alone are worth playing a round at Conklin. The golf course's signature hole is the par-3 10th. Not only is there an island green, this hole also plays into the prevailing wind.

CPC Aug 22
Arrived as a walk on during a threatening weather day and paid 48. as a sr. Great Value. Course was wet from earlier storms, but course is very lush. Incredible elevation changes provide a very picturesque setting. Greens were fast despite the bad previous weather,. Wonderfully challenging layout, that makes this a must stop if you are in the area. Deserves all then kudos sent its way!
This course is meticulously maintained and is beautiful
CPC is a beautiful course and a very fair test of golf, there are a couple of funky holes, particularly # 3 and # 16, both doglegs with short uphill approaches. The greens are large and true. There is plenty of water and sand so you can test your game against all situations. The scenery is awesome, so bring your camera and you will get some truly amazing photos.
Foggy morning!
I’ve heard about the quality of this course for years, and it was a very fun track.
The greens were in good shape (aside from the random 3 that were punched recently). The fairways were covered in dead spots. The punched greens and fairways are the reason for a 4 star rating. Everything else was real nice. We were the first group out and got in and out in around 3 hours.
Not as in good condition as previous years
Nice layout and brautifully landscaped....unfortunately a few greens must have had problems and were aerated and not too good...overall the greens were inconsistent....fairways had many dead spots which made them look bad but they still played OK....we play there every year and this was by far the worst conditions I have seen the course in....I guess the lousy weather is making life difficult for course superintendents....however, En Joie and Links at Hiawatha Landing did not seem to have the same issues...
Must Play
If you have not yet experienced this course, put it on your list. Great conditioning and layout. Views from some tee boxes are incredible. No two holes are alike. Great time.
Great track
Outstanding layout with great variety of holes. Conditions were ideal, with tour caliber greens. One of the best bangs for the buck in golf. Well worth the 2 hour drive from home.
A Perfect Day
My wife and I went up to the Binghamton area for my niece's graduation. We found this course and what a great surprise. The course was in excellent condition with a great layout and wonderful views. We were both very impressed with this facility. The young man in the pro shop (didn't get his name but know he is an engineering student at Binghamton) was also friendly and helpful. We absolutely recommend this course and will most certainly play here again. Thank you CPC.
Well worth it
I along with 11 others got together to play this wonderful course. Conklin is in great shape and playable for all levels of talent. The GPS on the cart is a nice touch and the hole description on each hole is helpful and this course is full of uphill and downhill shots. No two holes are alike. This course is worth the time and effort to get there.
A gem of a course
This course is such a gem! $50 with Cart on weekdays. You do sadly have to pay for range balls. The day I played it was cart path only so on some holes it was a hike. Great par threes. Number twelve is a great hole with a fantastic view. If you are within an hour of this course PLAY IT!!
Great Layout
I played this track for the first time and it was really nice. For a public course, I was very surprised. I would play this over and over again and would recommend it to others to play it. Lots of tee shots are blind shots but a challenging course. Carts have GPS which is nice though I carry my dependable GPS on my phone. Greens were in great shape, the weather was nice (a little warmer than I would like but still had a great time. I can't wait to play it again. The week day morning green fees a bargain.
Great place to play
I've played Conklin numerous times with a buddies foursome and on a golf package with 100 guys. Everyone loves the course and the guys even go down one day early to get another day of playing it. It's an excellent place to play. If I lived in the area, I would be a member and play there as often as I could. The course is always in excellent condition. The holes are picturesque and challenging. The staff are friendly and always able to help. Listen to the GPS lady and she will not lead you astray on the tee shots and the greens. There are plenty of challenging shots and you are better off if you can drive it straight. Greens are good to putt. No. 8 is a good risk-reward hole and one that will make you concentrate on the tee shot.
CPC Late Fall
Highly recommend Conklin Players Club for late fall. They do a great job of keeping the leaves away. There are a few holes that if you stray too far off the fairway, you might have to do a bit of searching. Course was in great shape, hardly anyone out on course so was able to sail around. Only disadvantage is the bar is closed early.
This course has great golf carts
We enjoyed our day at CPC. The course was in great shape, tee boxes, fairways and greens. We found the GPS on the carts to be extremely helpful. The sale in the pro shop was a nice surprise too.
awesome course
Probably one of the nicest courses you will ever play. Everything is perfect.
conklin player's club
Beautiful facility with tremendous conditions. Fairways are impeccable. fun course to play
CPC - Why did I stay away so long?
Absolutely love the course. One of the nicest/prettiest in the area. Haven't played in over 15 years. Hope to go back real soon.
rain
Course in great shape for this time of year. Would play again.
Tough to start on the hole with the island green.
I had not played this course in many years. The course was in excellent condition. Because high school teams were playing the front 9, and walking, we were given the option of starting on the back nine. The 10th hole is their signature hole , a 160 yd par 3 with an island green. Great time was had by all our players. We could not eat there as the restaurant was closed when we finished play.
