Great value for money

Fairly simple course with a few unique holes. I play there fairly often for one-off games as it is only £10 a round.

The staff are great but there are almost always non-golfers hanging around the wooded areas drinking, which can be quite off-putting.

Overall, a great no frills course.

Short but very enjoyable

A great wee municipal in good condition. Last 6 holes are the toughest. Greens are a bit slow but 18 holes for a tenner is fantastic.

Best £10 to spend in Glasgow .

Lad in Pro shop was excellent, really nice fella, course was in good condition and only paying £10 was unbelievable value.
We all will be back, it is hilly, so maybe not suited for all

Excellent Municipal. Great value. Well maintained except bunkers. Hard climbing last 6 holes. That aside back nine is a lot of fun.

Great Value

A physically demanding course with some very steep climbs. Course itself was in good condition. Greens are slow but true. Bunkers appear to receive little attention and have no soft sand at all and weeds growing.

Layout is quite interesting with a good mix of challenges. Some short par 4's offering good birdie chances and some very challenging par 3's with severe elevations. No par 5's but a couple of par 4's that you'll be pushed to reach in two.

It's cheap at a tenner for sure so great value but not for the faint-hearted.

Dalmuir

Good quality council course, excellent value for money.
Mixture of "easy" straightforward holes and some of the toughest holes you'll play anywhere.

Very hilly

Played this course years ago and forgot how hilly it is, front 9 holes are pretty good, but the back nine is severely energy sapping especially the 13th, so steep it has stairs up to the green. For a municipal course you really can’t fault it, it is well looked after. Downsides are the neds drinking in the bushes at the 3rd although they never bothered us and the amount of people out walking dogs. Apart from that it was a good challenge, definitely helps if your a big hitter.

I have discovered a gem

Upon arriving I checked in and was straight away moved in-front of a 4 balL and was given a run down of each hole and the best way to play them.

The course - this course has a mix of challenging holes ranging from. The 429 par 4 ( hole13) this is a long uphill par 4.

And 105 yard. (Hole 12) cheeky short par 3. With water before the whole and 2 bunkers if you hit short you will lose the ball in the growth or the water.

Can’t wait to play here again
