About
The Golf Club at North Hampton offers a traditional Scottish links-style course right in northeast Florida. Designed by Arnold Palmer, the layout meanders through dramatic elevation changes of over 40 feet and ten spring-fed lakes lined with coquina boulders. Sprawled across rolling hills and wild grasses, the golf course is sculpted from beautiful Florida woodlands, offering a round that is as scenic as it is challenging. The Golf Club at North Hampton's hard-to-read greens are massive and move very quickly. There are also tight fairways, many of which feature blind approaches. To make it even trickier, strong winds often sweep through the course, some even reaching a speed of 30 miles an hour.

Great golf course with excellent staff
Greens and fairways in super condition. New range balls. Helpful and friendly staff. One of the finest golf courses in Northern Florida.

Always have a good experience here. Course is in good shape and staff takes care of you. Great value through Golfnow Hot Deal.
What happened to North Hampton
This used to be one of the best courses in all of Florida (10 plus years ago). So sad to say that it is not worth the time to play due to poor condition and lack of TLC in all areas of the course.
What once was a great track is now in terrible condition.
Awesome
Very challenging course but satisfying. Higher caliber course than I’m used to. Deceptively difficult approach shots.
Nice Challenging Track
Nice day spent with friends on the course. Greens and fairways are in awesome shape.
Only complaint course not busy and starter had us wait 25 min to tee due to us booking on Golf Now...
Great layout
A fair test to the average golfer greens were a touch slow on the front but roll well. What I like about this course is every hole is different great variety of holes!
Worst shape in years
Have always loved this course.
We drive an hour to play it and I play it at least 4 times a year
It’s the worst I’ve seen it in the 5 years I’ve been playing out there.
To be fair it has been raining a bit. But the greens are covered in poana and the fairways aren’t much better.
North Hampton
OUCH!!! Challenging course that I could not rise up for the occasion. Greens fast and true. Course layout is good and accuracy rather than distance is critical for decent scoring and avoid 3-putts!!!
First Rate as always
Staff and course are always 5 star. 18 holes on 3 hrs 15 mins. Greens and course in great Shape.
Excellent condition with fast greens
The overall course conditions were excellent except for the cart paths, which need some attention. The greens were fast and true if you pay attention to the features of the greens.
Great Course
I got paired up with a member who made my first time experience at this course very enjoyable. Challenging track with quite a few risk reward shots.
Great layout
Course was very challenging. Fairways were tight for a medium handicap golfer. Staff was great, explained the pin placements and gave a guide book with it. Will play again when I return to Jacksonville.
North Hampton
Was a on and off light rain but course was in great condition and was easy to get around in less than 4 hours.
Wonderful fall day
My group of 4 absolutely loved the day of golf. The weather was a great break to have 75 degrees after a long hot summer of 90 plus temps. The course was breath taking with the elevated tee boxes and sloping hills. Fairway to green was in excellent shape. One of my partners had this course on is bucket list and he was very pleased with his outing. Numerous comments throughout the day about how we should come back and play this course again. We drove a little over an hour to play this course and it was well worth the drive. Sunday's during football season can sometimes be a difficult choice for golf but considering the Jaguars suck this year and they played a horrible game early in the morning in England we were able to salvage the day with some beautiful weather and good fellowship on a wonderful course.
1st time playing,from the Green tees.
Perused booklet of layout in pro shop. Challenging even from the green tees. From the tips, the water definitely comes into play. BUT it is a really great scenic layout. It will play easier the next time, because we will know where NOT to place our shots. Worth the money; especially a hot deal with
some promos thrown -in. Lost three balls in the weeds,trying to stay out of the water. Good day..

Sorry to hear about the bad experience. We have renovated bunkers, removed a number of unsightly waste areas, and improved the clubhouse and dining areas all since 2016. Looking at other reviews we've received in the last 12 months is reflective of these improvements.
