good time
Course in fairly good condition. some greens were getting bad, but it's that time of year. would play again.
Good Venue
Was a single and paired with another single. Had not played this course in about 4 years. Was pretty fast through the 1st 9, then got behind a 5-some and came to a stall. The pair behind us caught up and we teamed with them. Course was in pretty good condition. Greens well maintained. Everything is dead level on the fairways. Definitely will play this course again.
Bartow
Always nice with flowering trees and big oaks.
Left a ball with gator who made noise when near.
Fun course, but conditions could be better.
I have played here many times and course conditions have improved a little bit over the last two years. Tight lies abound and there are some sandy spots on otherwise pretty good greens. There are too few golf carts since a cart is not available until just before your tee time if you play in the afternoon. Electric carts sometimes loose battery power before the round ends since they have to be recycled for the pm rounds. Pretty good place to play if you move your golf ball away from the roots that protrude under each tree. (I know, keep it in the fairway.)
Great value
Course was good for February, greens were in good condition. Sand was playable. Staff very friendly
Good Little Course
This is a typical small town municipal course. The course was in good shape considering the number of people playing. Tee boxes needed some work but the fairways and greens where in decent shape.
Course in good shape and playable for all abilities.
We enjoyed our round. The staff in the clubhouse and pro shop were very friendly. It made for a good day.
Good pace of play, the staff are very friendly, the course is in fine shape. It wide fairways, challenging large greens, and some nice water hazards.
I would recommend playing this course, it has great value for your money and time.
Hot deal steal!
I paid $9 to play here and that was a steal. The course is in decent shape. Tee boxes are over seeded right now. Greens are still a little bit hairy because of overseeding. Fairways are ok. The size of the greens is what makes the course difficult. They are really small. Awesome place to practice your game. I will definitely play it again. Not sure I would pay $25 but $9 is a steal. Check it out.
flat wide open easy
green could use a little attention. play is a little slow, course seems to gets a lot of play.
the course was in very good condition.
the course was in very good condition and the pace of play was also very good
Nice Layout
This is a nice, old-style layout, with open fairways and some trees to make it interesting. The fairways are firm providing good roll, and the tee boxes are OK, but could use some work. The greens are the problem. When we played, they were sandy, bumpy and surprisingly slow. There are challenging holes to keep your interest, then an easy one for relief. The staff is great, although no starter. The restaurant, "Mulligan's" has good "pub fare" and the folks there are great. All in all, a good day of golf, even if the putting wasn't up to par.
This course was in very good shape.
Play was rained out, but the putting greens were in very good shape.
Fun, playable course
Well maintained, good greens, good value for the money. Enjoyed the old-style distance between tees and greens of the 1920 design.
THIS IS MY HOME COURSE AND I LOVE IT AS WELL AS THE STAFF. ALWAYS HELPFUL AND COURTEOUS.
GGREAT COURSE FOR THE MONEY AND THE COURSE IS CHALLENGING. I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.
The course is very plain with no uniqueness to it
The greens are postage stamp size, and required alot of attention. Tees are all mixed up, however it is wide open and you should score well.
Fun track
This a course that is fun for everyone no matter your age and hadicap. Most of the course is wide open, I like the par 3 on the 13th hole with the tree that you must hit over to get to the green or roll it up there and take a chance on going in the sand trap. I don't like the ideal of the driving range splits two fairways, some of the practice balls land in the fairways and can be a nuisance. All in all nice track will play again.
Plesent course, good conditions
The course is in good condition, 17 of the greens were smoooth and firm, only one needed attention and it was getting it.
All and all a great day on a very nice course.
