Most fun course in sandestin. Always play it when we stay there
Great Course, Amazing Views and Challenging Layout, But...
The course is challenging and fun and the views are spectacular. However, on the back nine I had 6 of the holes where I had to dodge the maintenance crews of mowers, blowers, weed eaters. One hole in particular, number 17, the gentleman mowing the fairway decided mowing the fairway was more important than moving aside and allowing the person playing to play. Extremely annoying and not proper etiquette. I understand that the course has to mow, etc., but was really unfortunate I had to dodge maintenance and the clumps of grass that was left behind from the mowing. This ruined the experience.
Course had a interesting layout, did not like the greens as they were just aerated not long ago they were still a little bumpy and slow. Bunkers we’re not that good a lot of them were very more like mud and sand and did not have much depth. For the price on GolfNow as a hot deal it was a good deal. I did expect it to be in better shape for a resort course
Course not well maintained
Weeds in tee box. Bunkers in fair condition. Not a good value for $53/person
Very nice course.Greens were really sandy because they were recently punched but that happens.I would definitely play this course again.
Greens were recently aerated but I found them to be rolling well. Indicates an excellent job by the staff to get the punched greens in reasonable shape. Hard course because of all the water hazards. You have to think your way around the 18.
No Drinking Water On Course!
I played the course on a very hot and humid day and after a few holes my group began commenting on the lack of drinking water on the course. When we asked an employee why there was no drinking water they stated that it was an intentional effort by management to drive up sales from the beverage cart. We were astonished. This seems like not only a dangerous but very shady business practice.
