The fairways were really wet and not many dry areas.

pricey- decent course. Too many elevated greens. About 3 goofy holes-11, 16 &17

the course is still under construction in places. the do have a small pro shop and a very small kitchen, mostly a microwave. the play of golf was great, the greens were in great shape and the fairways were also in good shape.

The views are beyond compare. A joy to play. The best course we played all week. Recommend this course to any and all.

They are still working on the amenities - Portable tolets are available - cartpaths mainly dirt - concerns re: poor yardage signage which makes it difficult without a GPS.

Course was in good shape. Greens were in good shape. Pace of play was at about 4 1/2 hrs. Could play a lot tougher if greens were playing faster.

Drove out to Tegavah and we loved the course. It has many tee choices for all levels and abilities, and best of all, reasonably generous fairways to hit from every tee. That said, it is a challenging course, because the approach shots are varied and difficult if you are not in the right spot off the tee. Moreover, it has some of the hardest "short holes", which are offset from some pretty straightforward, but very "long" holes, so you have to use every clubi in the bag during your round.

Moreover, the course has wonderful views of the mountains and desert from almost every hole. So no matter how bad you're playing, you'll enjoy the trip around the course for the views alone.

Yes. the clubhouse is sparse, and many of the cart paths are still unpaved, but if you make the trip out to Vista Verde, you won't remember those short-comings, only the very friendly staff and wonderful, very playable course.

We had a difficult time finding the golf course. Google maps had us running out to Ranch Verde, instead of Vista Verde. I am sure that part of that had to do with the recent name change to Tegavah . We arrived at the course with less than 10 minutes before our tee time. We were stressed and anxious because we were not going to have a chance to warm up before we teed off. I asked the employee in the pro shop if there was any chance we could move our tee time around. Without hesitation they agreed to do that and found another slot about 30 minutes after our original tee time. Really worked out well.

The staff was super. They were knowledgeable and extremely friendly. We were really impressed by them. The course had just recently completed it’s over seeding and was in pristine condition. It is far enough out from the city that there are no homes on the course, yet. So it was extremely picturesque and tranquil. I’m sure that will change as Scottsdale continues to develop.

The course is not difficult, but an interesting challenge. Highly recommend.

Even with play "cart path only", we made excellent time and enjoyed walking in such pleasant weather. All of us thought that the course was uniquely challenging and yet, offered some wide and very playable fairways. A Great feature of Tegavah is that the second cut around the grees permits both chipping high and running low balls into flags.

It's a little bit of a drive from Phoenix but the course is terrific. Great conditions, excellent layout and very good value.

An exceptional experience for a wonderful price!
