Solid course
I really enjoyed playing this course. Nice pace of play, good conditions, friendly staff.
Only two things that were odd: 1) The clubhouse wasn’t anything special and didn’t have a great selection of drinks/snacks. 2) Carts were good, but it felt like we drove miles and miles around the course to get to the next hole… not bad, just weird to me.
Overall good experience. A little on the expensive side ($65 for a round)
Fun course
This course has a lot of potential. Some holes are unforgiving. If they maintained the course a little better than it has, could be a special course. The terrain and jungle would be hard to keep up, so I understand the pickle this course is in. I’ll be back.
The course layout is excellent and the course is always is good shape. Unfortunately the greens are literally like 1970s shag carpet.
My cart was losing power at the third hole on “The Hill” when trying to go up the cart path to the green. Drove all the way back to the club house and it ran out of gas within throwing distance of the first tee box. That set us back about an hour roughly. Price was a bit high for the experience.
Great Course and Great Starter -
the course has 27 holes we did not get to play the jungle but will go back to experience it. You really need to play the course management and if you have time drive up to see your shots. Some holes you may need or want to hit all the way up to the hazard because of long carries. Shots approaching the green left or right usually will end up costing you a stroke, many bunkers and some elevated greens. Greens are in great shape. Especially considering it was Sunday of the long weekend the starter does a great job at managing the 27 hole course. We did not wait on a single hole all day long. I lost about 6 balls that day to the various hazards.
They do not have cart staff I am guessing since on the long weekend prime time there was not one out on the course.
Enjoy your round.
Target golf
Played the Marsh 9 on a Thursday evening. Definitely a challenging course as you have to be able to get the ball up and over trouble. Nice advantage for the front tees which was important as I was playing with my son. I wish there was a club house to grab a bite after the round and there are no rest rooms or satellites on the course but for the money, we enjoyed it.
Worth the drive if you live downtown!
Very fun course.
Par 3’s are my favorite, lots of elevation.
Played all 3 courses and enjoy them all.
Parking is a breeze.
Needs Mowing
This is a great course with some very challenging and beautiful holes. However with a busy Father’s Day weekend you would have thought that the greens and fairways would have been mowed for the weekend. They were not. Greens were slow but at least they were all consistently slow. Holes needed to be moved as there was some overgrowth on the holes edges. Either way I will definitely still return to this course just because of how beautiful it is.
Clubhouse
Course was wet and rough was punishing. Greens were slow and a little shaggy. To be expected after heavy rains. Played behind a league and pace was horrible. Got off early but paid for it . There is not much of a clubhouse per say but has the basics and I am here to play golf,, Not watch Sports TV on screens. All in all I would play here again but look for tee time before league play.
Amazing
Best golf course within hr and half from my house. Feels like up north golf. So scenic and always in great shape! Amazing golf experience every time.
Beautiful place
Course was great, staff was excellent no complaints. Thank You for a great experience
Terrible Management
Tee’d off 25 minutes after our scheduled tee time. No ranger or starter, on hole 3 there were 8 carts waiting to tee off. Ended up leaving after playing 9 because it took 3 hours. Will never go back or recommend.
