Jacksonville Beach Golf Club

Course played well with lots of opportunities to score. The greens were consistent a lead to birdies and lots of pars. Just a great location and a nice day to play golf for a inexpensive price.

I'll start of by saying that the staff was great. Very friendly and engaging but that was one of the few positives. The first hole has a temp green and the rest of the greens were terrible. They have been taken over by weeds and are inconsistent. The fairways, tee boxes, and bunkers are fine but bad greens just ruin my round. I played on a Tuesday around noon and had a lot of people in front of me that were taking forever but I couldn't get past them because of other groups ahead of them. I would recommend going somewhere else and paying the extra money.

Fun course, friendly employees, course was fun and challenging, especially for us women!! We will be back, enjoyed it very much!

I have been to some bad golf courses in my time but the condition of the course is the worst I have ever seen. Many of the greens are half grass and half dirt. Also most of the greens have some kind of pattern of lines going through them. Also some greens actually have weeds growing on them. Some of the fairways are ok but some are bad. The guys in the pro shop seem to be pretty nice. Also, it is hard to beat the price. I guess you get what you pay for. If you want to go work on your game (other than the putting) this is the place. If you want to play a nice round of golf go somewhere else. Also, the pace of play can be really frustrating.

Decent course layout, though they always have trouble with a few greens... The price is always right here & the fairways are always more than decent. Getting in a good practice round (short of putting practice) is well worth what they charge.

This visit was no exception, there were 2-3 holes which were not even grass; it was rolled sand/dirt/burnt grass that had a green fertilizer/coloring sprayed onto it. Albeit they weren't receptive to approach shots, they still rolled true for putting (though just a little faster).. 3/5 as always just an average course for jacksonville in summer.

Course was in bad shape - the greens need a lot of work. Also the pace of play was ungodly slow. We skipped 4 groups and 2 holes to get past the culprits and then the course was wide open. Lastly, they turned the sprinklers on in the middle of our round...at 1 in the afternoon!

I've played here several times in the past, but the conditions were miserable. The condition of the greens were aweful and they did a very poor job laying sod. Too many dead spots in the fairway, especially for having the sprinkler on mid day for from hole 5 - 14. Most of the greens were like putting on sand. Would have been much more upset if I didn't get an exceptional deal on the round. Over all 2.25/5

Worth the money for 18 but greens weren't very pretty. First hole under construction but not horrible. Overall had a blast. Always have fun on this course even though it's rarely in good shape.

A lot of the fairways and just off have numerous weeds and such. The greens are pretty bare and it's difficult to hold an approach shot. For me it's a relaxing and fun day of golf and knowing the conditions and challenges of the terrain. I will play there again.

Very good experience.The 1st hole was the only negative. The greens rolled true and were quick. My foursome did not wait on any hole after the the first, we completed the round in 4 hrs.

A few greens under repair but you can't beat a beautiful day in Jax. Beach. The Staff and the facilities are always great.

Hole 1 is under construction, which was not mentioned during the booking process. Many mixed foursomes with cart riders and walkers in front of me slowed down the pace of play a lot.

#1 hole is under reconstruction but rest of course in pretty good shape. Loved watching the eagles. Many holes have water hazards so lost a few balls but overall it was an enjoyable experience.

The first green is finally being made new again, well overdue. Overall conditions are good , certainly worth the price.

Fairways and greens missing a lot of grass. But the layout is always fun, so we had a great time.

Enjoyable round as always. Pls redo the green on hole no 1! It's so bad!

Very little grass in the fairways. Greens were not even; lots of weeds. Thought I had a deal at $27, but it was not worth the money.

Got a great price through golf now. It was busy but played under 4hrs. Many risk reward holes that made it lots of fun.

course is overall playable but not pristene. the greens are generally better than in the past. pretty good value for the money

Enjoyed our round yesterday. Played as a threesome and seldom had to wait and had nobody behind us. Very rare for a Sunday round!
