Winter Overseeding has filled in Nicely.. Decent Cushion on the Tees & in the Fairways.. Greens Decent Speed & Mostly Consistent.. Had a Few Bare Patches Here/There but Mostly Cosmetic etc / didn't seem to affect putting much/if at all.. If course would maintain these conditions year round would be Fine.. still a Mystery why course can get grass to Grow on the Greens in the Winter.. but not the Summer?!... :/
This course usually Allows/Has lots of "Walkers" which sometimes slows up your pace a bit (did this day)...

The new grounds keeper has done a fantastic job, I have been playing this course for several years and feel it has never looked or played better. The greens are night and day better than before and the new tee boxes are stylish and appreciated. It is fun, great price and highly recommended! Great addition to the community!

1. I have never been to a golf course where the starter demanded to go through our bags to make sure that we were not bringing in our own drinks. The irony of a course so desperate for you to buy their own drinks, we did not see a cart girls until we finally saw her at the clubhouse and then she asked if we wanted something. We said no thanks as we were already going inside to the restaurant.

2. I have not seen a course where so many singles were allowed to go out after each other. Our group of 3 had to let 3 singles play through.

3. If you like dollar weeds you have found the perfect spot. The course is infected with them.

4. At the end of the day the marshall told us that after we finished the 16th hole we had to turn our golf carts in because the cart manager wanted all his carts now so he could go home. There was no mention of this before we started and there was no offer of reembursement for the holes we did not get to play because we were being forced to quit.

5. On the bright spot, the weather was amazing.

Years ago my friends and I would play this course maybe 2 times a month.
In the last couple of years the conditions have made it unacceptable to even consider to play given the many many options within a 20 mile radius.
We gave it a shot this weekend and I could not be more encouraged by the condition. The Tee boxes were in good shape. Fairways and rough afforded a playable shot "off of real grass" and the greens which where terrible were puttable although not yet consistent.
Still lightyears from the round we played earlier this year.
If conditions continue on this pace, I will be a regular again.

For a municipal course this layout is pretty nice. Greens have always been a problem at this course. Some are fast others are slow. I believe they don't cut/roll all the greens on the same day which creates the drastic differences.
Overall it was a nice day and relaxed...

After months of rain the course has held up pretty well. However, a few of the greens did need help but for the most part were pretty good and rolled good.
The course is a challenge with plenty of water but we enjoyed the day very much.

Overall course was average for this time of year, but several greens were in poor shape, no grass or new grass. Tee boxes have needed attention for awhile. Fairways decent. Provides a good challenge for beginner to intermidiate players.

First time played here, 2 holes have temporary greens (1,16). Not crowded the morning I played so pace of play is great. Greens are slow, lot of sand, aeration. Friendly staff. Pretty flat course, easy to walk.

Wow where to start! Arriated greens and no one tells you that before play! 1st hole is a joke, it's been closed for 4 months almost! All other greens have been arriated & sod planted in random places and ball doesn't react good on sand and sod! They should shut down a nine and redo it the right way! All of the greens/course need a lot of work! The county needs to step up to the plate here! Greens keeper needs to find a new job! This could be a gem of a course! Also I would recommend walking, there were multiple carts that just stopped working/ maintain your equipment please....no one wants to stop a round of golf to switch carts! Please get some new help! Until then I will not recommend this course to anyone!

The overall feeling is that this course is in disrepair. There were 4 temp greens. Granted they are opening soon. Now besides that the rough has been growing up quite long. The tee boxes were directed in a horrible direction for the average golfer who doesn't know the course. Fairways were decent. I hope they get it going in Fall, because this season is a fail.

four temporary greens but 6-8 other greens had 1 inch of sand all over them and unplayable. grass was not cut in awhile and crabgrass all through the fairways. I will not play this course again. had to get a refund

Had 4 temporary greens and other 14 had been punched. Sorry, but at this time would not recommend playing.

Great course for the money paid. A few holes and greens are under construction but it was still a nice course.

4 temporary greens and several greens with dead spots can limit your enjoyment of the course. There are several demanding tee shots and enjoyable par threes but until the greens come back to form I cannot recommend this course for play - especially when other quality courses for just a few dollars more are available

There are four temporary greens. When these greens are finished it will be a wonderful course.

Been a while since I played the course. May not have been a good time to write a review as there are several temporary greens and the weather that day turned out terribly. The staff is friendly, other golfers were very courteous and any day on a course is a good one.

They just air-rated the greens, but they will struggle here until the overseed is done in the winter. The course isn't long but with coastal winds in can be challenging. Pace of play is often hit or miss, but the hotter it gets, the less busy it tends to be.

every green is in terrible shape and some are at the point of no return. Tee boxes need alot of work too. Only a few fairways are decent.

Water and hazards on every hole. Trouble on every hole.

The few bunkers I ended in were easy to Play out of due to sand quality and being free of vegetation. The greens on this course are consistently the worst kept of any course I have ever played. The fact that they were recently aerated and sanded has no bearing on this review as even that was poorly done.
