nice track
We had a great time. The course was in great shape.
It was quite breezy when we played, so it was very challenging to put the ball on the correct area of the greens. I'd like to play it again in less windy conditions.
Amazing
This was the finest place to golf in the Naples Ft Meyer's corridor. Top notch in every aspect. Fast tight fairways with plenty of landing room. Greens were like brand new, but in Jack Nicklaus fashion, some degree of difficulty. Beautiful landscaping on every hole. One hour from Naples, but was worth the drive. I'm going to find it hard to play other courses after finding this magnificent gem. Truly awesome and no hackers or slow poke players.
Good value for Nicklaus design.
Have played here several times through GolfNow. The staff is friendly and informative. There are five sets of tees for lots of options. The greens are consistent, but challenging with lots of options for pin placements. The course is mostly open so playing in windy conditions can be tricky. Less water than many Florida courses. The par 3s are not long but the green undulations present challenges. Our foursome finished in 3 hours and 45 minutes recently and past experiences were about 4 hours.
nice layout
Best course I played out of seven in 8 days. Best greens. Fast and smooth. Could always use a little more fairway grass but was better than most. Fun course. A great 4 hr round. Remember to tuck your shirt in cause they will remind if you don't.
Beautiful Course
Green totally unfair! The difficulty of the course should not be based solely of difficculty of greens!
perfect valeu
Ferry good cours, friendly and welcoming staff. Great greens ferry fast 12, 5
Surprisingly Just OK
This was the JN, track, I was not overly empresses with the greens , and the general condition of the fairways , and the tees, were average at best.
Immaculate
This was only my second or third time playing here... played Whispering Oaks (easier of the two, if I'm not mistaken). Very enjoyable round of golf, again. This course is maintained in pristine condition. Lots of tee options, choose wisely. It's just over 6,000 yards from the 4 tees, but still a 129 slope. We played a combination of 3 and 4, and had a great time.
Most holes are fair off the tee, but accuracy on your approach shots is critical to scoring- the greens are fast, undulating, and many are multi-tiered- if you're on the wrong part of the green (especially above the hole), it can be a REAL challenge to get down in two.
Quick greens
Very nice course. Staff was very friendly . Course has 5 and 6 tee boxes so you can make the course as challenging as you want. Fairways where in great shape and greens where fast and ball rolled true.
True greens and very friendly staff
I took a group of 7 to play at Verandah Whispering Oak. The staff was unbelievably cordial and helpful, and the course was in very good condition. Practice facility was excellent, and we teed off exactly on time. Pace of play was fine. Greens were excellent -- quick and very true. Overall, it was a very good day. Food in the bar was excellent and reasonably priced. We will most definitely return on our next trip to the area.
Pleasant course
Course has a private feel. Play moved along nicely. Enjoyable golf not overly challenging wide fairways some tricky greens .
I preferred the old orange course a little more . Staff friendly and helpful. Nice practice area and clubhouse
Interesting layout. Tricky greens.
The course was in good shape. The green's were deceptively quick. Pace of play was good, we played in four hours. Staff were friendly and helpful.
average experience
We played Whispering Oaks. The course conditions were ok but not outstanding. Quite some distraction from construction works and by-passing roads. Not really a beautiful setup for a round of golf in the nature. Actually, we were quite disappointed and will not come back.
Easy driving, tough greens
If you have trouble hitting the driver straight this is the course for you. Almost driving range sized fairways. All the difficulty comes from the greens which are super slopey. If the groundskeeper is nice the pins will be in relatively good places for well struck approach shots but if you have trouble with speed control be careful since the ball can run down swales and off the green if you are not careful.
Multiple tee boxes provides a challenge for all skill levels.
The course was well suited for play for both my wife and myself. Greens were recently top dressed but were fast and true. Great experience.
challanging length a greens!!
Great course! look forward to another round!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great layout. Very undulating greens, though to putt. Still fun and fair.
We loved playing this course. Moderate difficulty, beautiful design and landscaping. Pace of play was great and staff were extremely friendly. Is a definite repeater. Love Jack Nicolas designed courses.
one of the nicest n the area
I've played this course several times and it is always in great condition. Its pretty tough on the greens because a lot of them are very undulating, but its a great challenge for any handicap.
nice, not always friendly in clubhouse
nice course, sometimes they make you feel you shouldn't be there through golf now.... Staff should remember that you playing golf there is paying their salaries... Without us playing through golf now they may not have players after noon!!
Great Golfcourse with friendly persons in the service and super grenns, perfect teeboxes.
