Panama Country Club
About
Panama Country Club is situated on the Intracoastal Waterway along the Gulf of Mexico. Donald Ross designed the golf course in 1927. Eight of the holes still reflect his original work. The fairways range in size from narrow to medium width and they are strategically routed through the natural features of the environment, not only preserving them but also allowing them to come into play. The course is mostly flat, making it pleasant to walk, but there are a few subtle contours that provide a challenging element to the layout. A number of holes also feature water hazards. The small greens play fast, indicative of the era in which they were built. Panama Country Club's greens are in consistently good condition year-round thanks to a 2005 resurfacing project.

Rodney
Greens were great, fairways solid, Layout very fair no blind golf shots
Blessed to play a private club
Really enjoyed this course. Greens had just been redone. Two still closed. The 16 that were in play were smooth, a nice speed and not too hard. Would enjoy a return trip to paly all 18 greens.
This course has great greens
Fairways are greened up, bunkers are always ready and greens are firm and fast.
"A Keeper"
Enjoyed the layout, challenging but unforgivable. Lots of trees, "old style course". Anxious to play again. Greens were a bit slow but rolled very well and true. Greens are somewhat small making it interesting. Well worth playing, I enjoyed the "hot deal of $34".
Squirrels
Course was very wet...Cart path only...too much walking plus Red tees for Women and Senior Men are almost the same...way too long for Senior Women!!!
Too many ugly squirrels on the course...and it seems that some people feed them so they expect food from you in a very scary way!!!
Play a club longer on par 3 no 7
Great course, beautiful greens, love this course going back today, next Monday and Tuesday
Great Curse
This is a very nice course and we had a great time.
First time playing Panama
This course is well maintained and some of the best greens I've seen. I will play it again.
beautiful, well kept. needs people to keep play moving.
great course well slayed out and well kept.too many members play together. some times 5 or more in a group.
Fairways were in very good condition
The greens and fairways were in very good condition. It is worth the extra few miles to get to the course.
black fox squirrels
good greens nice fairways, play the tips everything's better from the tips
Panama country club
Being a private country club that opens up to the public, they allow members with no tee time to go in front of non members with a tee time. We teed off about 30 minutes after we were supposed to. Overall had good time
course is in very good condition. and overseeded
Played other courses in the area and this course stands above all of them. Greens all in above average condition.
This course is in great shape for this time of year.
We played in 4 hours. The pro shop and facilities are very nice, we will definitely play again.
Great course
For this time of year the fairways were in great shape and the greens were excellent. Hope to play this course several more times during our stay here.
This course is challenging but will be better golfing it the second time around.
This course is difficult the first time, but will be easier the second time. Did not have a starter which they had a back up.
Very nice layout.
Course is well maintained. Very nice layout. Lots of doglegs. Quite challenging. Greens were excellent. Lots of squirrels at every hole. We had a great day.
gret winter course
would recommend this course to anybody, green greens, teeooffs and around greens
Well kept course
Althow the club house let us know his displeasure with getting so called free golf times through GolfNow witch by the way we did pay for . We got over it and enjoyed our round. For some reason this has happened at a few other courses where we have played in Florida. I believe this is a problem that GolfNow needs to work out with the clubs so that paying costumers may be treated like respected golfers ..
I could not agree more with the need for GolfNow to do some reaching out to these courses and work with the courses on the way customers of GolfNow are treated. Not very good business practices by the course management to allow this to go on by employees.
