Briar Bay Golf Course
About
Briar Bay Golf Course, opened in 1975, is an affordably priced executive course that stretches out over 30 acres. The course presents challenges for all players, beginning to advanced. The layout features elevated greens that are small and fast, narrow fairways that are protected with bunkers. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. Although it is located near a residential area the course promises an interesting layout that goes in every direction. Briar Bay Golf Course facility lacks some of the amenities of a private club, but they do boast a practice green and a clubhouse.

Great Design
Designed by one of my all time favorites, Robert Von Hagge, this course is short but super fun to play
Not bad
For The $20 per person yah we paid it is a nice place for a beginner like me.
DON'T BOTHER TO GO
THIS PLACE WAS HORRIBLE, LETS JUST START BY SAYING I BOOKED A 9 HOLE WITH A CART INCLUDED AND WHEN I GET THERE THEY HAD US PAY FOR THE CART AGAIN BECAUSE THEY SAID IT WASN'T INCLUDED!!! FRONT DESK STAFF WAS EXTREMELY RUDE! I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLAY EVER AGAIN!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY
Beware if hidden cart fees
On Golfnow.com the cart icon is on this course's offering as being included in the rate. Once you get to the course they slam you with a $7.75 per person cart fee and they blame Golfnow.com for the error. Not cool!!!!
Great Irons course
This is a public 9 hole course with only two long holes. 3 & 6 van be challenging and 4 is the longest hole. Really greaty to practice short game and Iron play. Moves fairly quickly although there are a lot of walkers. For $11 you cant beat it!!
Dont say anything at all ?
My father always said that if you dont have anything good to say, don't say anything at all. So, I won't say anything about How difficult it was to pay, the unfriendliness when we walked in, the poor conditions of the course and then the questionable antics of the so called starter/ranger who told me where I should and should'nt put my pull cart. I know how to respect a course much better than they know how ro maintain one. What did I expect for $12.00 ????
The Course was good for playing with my 8 year old son, staff were friendly, the pace is very slow
There is no Marshall to keep up pace of play, so pace was ver slow because players can walk the course, greens need better care, but is relatively good value for the fees paid
Nice and Fun
Played with my son last Saturday and was surprised that this little course could be so fun! Although it does require some attention at least the greens were ok. I will go back because it is close to my house and its a fair deal thru Golf Now.
Very good course
Course is small but it is challenging. It is kept in good shape and the staff is very friendly and informative.
The course was in rough shape.
Course was in very rough shape. Sprinkler was operating on the 9th hole during play. Thought the rate would cover 18 holes but only covered 9 holes.
Nice course for warming up...
Greens need lot of work on them. Blue tees don't exist. Nice little course for training.
Fun and Good Value
A compact 9-hole course. We took our two children, who are beginners, and all had a fun time. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We will definitely return!
short and easy
i;ll be back, this course is alot of fun. not much water great for walking
Briar Bay - Decent course at amazing price.
Course is overall pretty good. Some patchy greens but besides that it plays well. For the price you definitely can't beat it. Best bang for your buck around and a fun course to play. Look forward to continue playing here.

A great 9 hole course. Great and friendly service. A great course for your short game.
Good course for beginners. Greens need work. They are very uneven, few have good grass.
This is a good course to practice the short game although the greens are not in good shape. The fairways are playable, almost no water to challenge and few sand traps. Also a good beginner's course.
