Flamingos Club de Golf
About
Opened in 1978, Flamingos Gofl Club was the first golf course in the Bay of Banderas and it has since become a local favorite. The course sprawls across a landscape covered with over 1,500 palm trees. There are also hundreds of different trees, including parota and eucalyptus, that frame the challenging greens. The narrow, subtle sloped fairways provide scenic paths that weave through the natural lagoons, estuaries, and marshes. There are nine water hazards and over 40 bunkers that come into play throughout the golf course. The layout will test your target golf skills and good strategizing will be greatly rewarded, which includes not only your ball placement on the fairways but also proper club selection, especially on the holes that are more affected by the strong coastal breezes.

Better than advertised
A wonderful, challenging, course on the outskirts of PV. Nice, long, course with enough challenge to keep me coming back..especially at these rates.
Don't let the Hot Deals deals fool you, the place is worth every penny.
And the Crocks are much worse at the other courses.
Caddie Required for course knowledge
A beautiful well maintained course which can punish good shots not strategically placed. Playing by yourself as a high handicapper not a good idea unless you have plenty of golf balls. Nice course but not worth the high green fees but great if you get a discount. Truly hot in the afternoon and little to no shade. Service by staff was good.
Great value golf in Nuevo Vallarta
Flamingos was in excellent condition, albeit with slow green. Very playable for all level of golfer. Not a lot of trouble although the wind is the "X-factor". Very friendly staff. We took a caddy fir the group of three and it was helpful in speeding up play (and finding our ball). Very few golfers the day we played. Deal on GolfNow.com was incredible. Will play again on our return.
The course is very nice, the greens were recently punched but were coming back nicely. Some areas were too wet and soft. Visually a nice course.
Nice Course for the Right Price
We found a hot deal for our tee time at Flamingos. It's a nice course for under $50. There are very expensive options in PV, so it was nice to find a more affordable course. Flamingos is a friendly course. They had recently aerated the greens, which made them more difficult(we went with a 2 putt max b/c of the uneveness from the punches). It had nice views, some breeze, but it can get hot in the afternoon. Staff was very friendly. They had a free shuttle that took us back to our hotel that was very nice.
Great course for the value
I play this course on a regular basis throughout the year.
Even in the peak tourist season you can get a great rate from GolfNow.com to play here.
The track is excellent, and the staff very friendly.
I give this course my highest recommendation.
Great local course
Excellent value for your money off season afternoon GN rate is impossible to beat here in PV. Greens a little slow and fuzzy but it's off season so don't worry about your score and enjoy. Super challenging in 3 club winds as sometime happen in the afternoon here.
nice Layout and windy challenges
I really like the layout - opportunities for all the clubs in the bag. wind comes up and can impact shot selection when up wind or downwind - caddie is money well spent. also nice with the different elevations.
I will go again for sure.
GOLF IN VALLARTA
buen campo de golf, en buenas condiciones, el viento lo hace sumamente retador . disfrute mucho el campo y sin duda lo volvere a jugar
great course great value
This course was well worth the $51 we played for a twilight tee time starting at 1:21pm. We played the Nicklaus Course at the Vidanta Resort and had to pay $98 for a 1:15 tee time and had to pay another $22 mandatory caddie fee apiece. The Nicklaus course was well maintained but flat and boring. The Flamingos course was more challenging with more elevations and more interesting. Great staff, great course and cheap beer. Highly recommend this course over the more expensive resort courses.
fun track
this golf course is laid out quit nicely. plenty of challenges for the low handicap player but also set up for us higher handicappers. greens are a bit slow but once you get used to them they roll pretty true. it's pricey unless you get a golfnow hot deal but then all the golf courses here are. now that i live here, i'm thinking about making flamingos my home course
Great condition
Have played this course several times over 14 years,it is in the best condition in that time,a real pleasure.
Very nice course
Beautiful course, challenging...bit expensive for balls and tees. Other than that, will definitely go back next time PV.
Flamingo
The course is comparable to a decent public course in Ontario but you are paying tourist prices to play in the spring.
I paid $71 USD for a 1:30 tee time and felt it was over priced for the quality of the course. Did not book a second round.
I certainly would not pay $165 USD to play this course in the morning.
Next time I would definitely try one of the other courses in Puerto Vallarta area.
Flamingo golf
This is the best course for your money in Puerto Vallarta. The course is challenging and very attractive. You need a caddy( now mandatory) however that cost is very reasonable. My only complaint is that the snack bar closes early and we were unable to have a margarita and guacamole after the round of golf. I play this course as often as possible as long as golfnow provides an attractive rate.
Would play it again
Very nice course layout for all abilties. It gets a lot of play and still is in pretty good condition. They do have forecaddies and I would recommend it for the additional $20.00 because there are some blind holes where it would be very helpful. This is a very natural place and not hoity-toity by any means.
Good Value
We booked a 2pm time through golfnow at a great price. All staff were very friendly except the starter. It was my first time playing there, and after the guys organizing our carts said there was a gap in times if we wanted to start 10 minutes early we skipped the driving range. Arriving at the first hole we were told there was no way we would start earlier than the golfnow time and come back in 10 minutes. No big deal to us - it was just an odd way to start the day as I'm used to a smile and a bit of course info from a starter. The course is fun, pretty wide open and in good shape. It was busy as the price is right for PV - I would play here again.
