1757 Golf Club
About
Located just a few minutes from Washington Dulles International Airport, 1757 Golf Club is one of northern Virginia's most popular courses. The name comes from the same year that Loudoun County was founded. The golf course is definitely a shot-maker's layout with a diverse terrain that has elevation changes up to 30 feet. There are several risk-reward opportunities as well. Well positioned tee shots will be generously rewarded with accessible approach shots but if you're errant, you'll have to deal with a tough recovery. The golf course is fairly tight so accuracy is a necessity. There are also water hazards on 14 holes and the rough can also be punishing. 1757 Golf Club finishes with an intimidating par 3 that plays over water to a shallow green. You'll need a bold stroke to avoid a watery grave.

Course was wet due to overnight rain ~ soggy in places, the sand traps were in rough condition wet and unraked. The greens wee not in great shape in that many golfers do not repair divot marks and consequently rough in places. Still, it is a fun course to play with enough water hazards to challenge the average golfer.
Well kept course
This was my friend and I’s first time playing this course. The course was in great shape despite the amount of rain that day and days previous. First course in the area that I have seen this year where the bunkers have been playable; nicely raked and fairly dry. The fairways were in good condition as well as the greens. There is a lot of water on this course so if you are a novice like myself, prepare to bring some extra balls. I will definitely be back!
Slow pace of play on very hot Thursday?
1757 is a good layout with great service. But tee times every 8 minutes and Starter stacking singles and twosome without pairing them up makes for a very slow round. I had a 10:30 am tee time and round took 4 1/2 hours ON A THURSDAY! No Rangers on the course to organize things either. Luckily the cart girl came around frequently or I would have gotten heat stroke. Greens recently aerated, but well sanded and rolled so putting was true. Fairways are in great shape, but fringe very ragged.
Qualified Recommendation
The course is relatively unforgiving, with water lining many holes (usually on the right). So accuracy is more important than length. The course layout is awkward, with many holes a good distance from one another. Not a great walking course. Many of the par 4's were short, and couple were unreasonably long. Very incongruous. Today the tee boxes were a bit chewed up, many greens were pot marked from players not fixing ball marks, and most sand traps were unplayable. Still many beautiful holes and a nice course overall.
Good course overall
Bunkers need some serious work (been raining recently but they obviously don’t drain well and haven’t been kept up). But rest of the course is in good shape including fairways and greens. Nice challenging layout with variation of long and short holes.
Off peak rates are a good value but peak hour rates seem a little steep. Overall good fun course in the area tho.
Beautiful Course
Water, water and more water. Loved this course. Very serene and beautifully maintained. I will definitely play here again.
Beautiful
Picked a wrong day because it was too hot today but beautiful courses and friendly staffs. It was fun playing few of the challenge holes. Definitely worth money.
Mixed staff review -- bad communications
Booked and paid completely online and staff at the carts could have sent our group without problems but they had no record of the reservation. Had to report to the desk where they, also, had no record of the booking until they reviewed communications with TeeOff.
Added one more need for personal interaction despite COVID circumstances.
A good course in good condition. Water almost always in play.
1757 golf
Course was in decent shape. Greens had a lot of divot marks which made them bumpy. Pace of play was very slow. Bunker need more sand. The low points fell like a rock when hitting.
Tough course but good experience
The layout is challenging and forces you to hit a variety of shots. The fairways and greens leave little room for forgiveness. The greens were incredibly fast and difficult to land anything on. Definitely bring you a game. All that said, the course is kept in good shape and the amenities are great.
