Great Course and will come back.
Greens in great condition. Course is pretty wide open and rough was not that bad. Several holes had Augusta like rough, Pine trees and Pine needles. Better to be short than long on most holes as many of the Greens have drop offs if you're long. First time Player here so had to guess on correct Club on some blind Tee & 2nd shots as could not see the best landing area. Tee shot placement on many Holes is very important due to the rolling nature of the course.. Yardage markers on all holes either on the Cart Path or in the Fairway. Go Play!!
Ball Strikers track.....
This is an excellent golf course for a solid ball striker. Greens, even after a 2.5" rain the evening before, rolled smooth and true. This course demands that you be honest with yourself as to your ability. Make sure you play the correct tees or you risk being overwhelmed by the distance.
Out of the way but worth the money
I've played here a few times and the course just gets better. Staff is awesome, course is fair for all levels, maintained very well and im going back as much as I can. Its a hike to get to but I don't mind
Great Course!
This is a really fun and challenging course to play. The staff are very friendly. I only gave it a maintained level of course condition due to the fact that they recently punched the greens. I am certian that they keep it in pristine condition. Both times I have played here the greens have been punched. The pace of play was right at 4.25 hrs. It is a bit out of the way but certainly worth the drive!
have to be able to play all shots
Great Course. You Have To Think On This Course. Loved It
The course has very fast greens, but accepting on approach shots.
Have always loved the course. It is very peaceful in that there are no homes at all. It has a lot of character, and a wide range of shots are required. Probably the most challenging par 4s in the north Georgia area. Easy, scenic drive to get to the course. I highly recommend to everyone. Closer to the city, it would be an $80+ tract.
Great course!
Crystal Falls has a lot of challenging but fair holes. We loved it and will definitely be coming back.
Very challenging. Will make you use every club in your bag
It's a drive from Marietta, but well worth the ride. Very fun course to play. I will play it again. Thanks Crystal Falls!
What a fantastic deal
Steal of a deal only about an hour outside of Atlanta. Will absoluty come back out. Staff was very friendly and they had a great breakfast burrito if you would like to have one before your morning round. A+. Course was in great shape and can easily see how beautiful it will be when it greens up.
very enjoyable course
I played on a day with not much activity. The course was beautiful and in great shape. The only problem I had was finding the course. All other aspects of my round were very enjoyable. Nice scenery, hole layout made the course enticing. This was my first time here and I look forward to returning.
Beautiful condition especially considering the rain of late. The only improvements I would like to see is at the range. Dont like hitting off mats.
Excellent condition of course. Greens in great shape. Liked the entire experience except hitting of mats at driving range. Oh yeah the flags seem to represent the SEC very well with Alabama getting top billing. Nice touch! RTR!
great value
We play this course first time.
We had real good time.
All good staffs and very good maintenance.
We will come back and play again soon.
Nice course - blind tee shots
Nice course layout in good condition. Many blind tee shots make this an interesting course. Definitely will play this course again. For the money the value is good to excellent. Only recommendation would be to take a range finder. The blind tee shots leave you really guessing on distances and where to hit the ball. Course could definitely benefit from distance markers on the tee boxes (they are there on the par 3's) and hole diagrams. Actually hit a tee shot to the wrong fairway because I could not tell where the tee shot needed to go. They may have a yardage booklet in the clubhouse but I forget to ask before teeing off. Otherwise, a very nice course!
Neat course carved out of north georgia woods and rolling hills terrian
Im a 19.9 so I played from the white T's which put me in some interested and fun situations to the greens. On my second trip I started using the iron on some Tee boxes to make sure I was on the short stuff for a nice approach or lay up. Im from Cali and so far I hate Bermuda ruff.
the greens are speedy and short putts ruined my score.
when you get to this course make sure you get your practice putts in at the range!
Thanks Crystal Falls members for inviting us Golfnow members!!!
Very nice course, well worth the money.
Very nice course, well worth the money. Hole number 16 can be a heart breaker, this hole will ruin a good round of golf if the tee boxes are behind the creek.....not a fun hole.
The course has wonderful!
I like this couse.
If I have time 1 want play again.
Great experience.
Absolutely one of the most challenging, best conditioned, fun courses I have played. It is a gem, although somewhat hidden due to its remote location. It is private, but accessible through GolfNow.com. I played with a twosome, one who was a member, who indicated the club has an active, fun men's group. It is sad to realize that the terrible real estate market in this area basically negated this club's plans, as it would be a premier, exclusive destination otherwise, but what a great opportunity for 3-times-a-week golfers like myself.
I love this course!
Even though it is a little ways north of the city this course is a gem. The back nine(13-16) is definitely more challenging than the front nine. The course is always in great shape and the greens roll true. The practice facilities are nice and the course views make the trip worth it.
Bent grass greens were very quick and in great condition. Traps were in wonderful shape.
I truly enjoyed this track -- Dennis Griffith is a master and this is one of his better designs. I would highly recommend this course to the player with a 10 or less handicap index -- strong test in great condition.
Greens in excellent condition..course very well maintained
The overall appearance of course was very good..greens were very fast, but smooth..very challenging..
