Extremely Disappointed
I have been to this course more than once and I have usually had a good time. However, this time was very different. The pace was originally very good and we started off enjoying ourselves but the real trouble occurred when we reached the back nine. While on the back nine we accidentally hit into the group ahead of us as we did not see them because they were on the cart path covered by some trees. When we noticed our mistake we yelled fore to warn the group ahead and instead of a typical conversation that would result in an apology and the groups moving on from the mistake, one of the golfers decide to shout obscenities at us and also threw one of our golf balls in the woods. When going to a golf course you would never expect this to happen, it was simply an innocent mistake. When we went into the clubhouse to complain about the incident the man running the pro shop was dismissive and thought the situation was funny and didn't act serious at all. Also, he wouldn't give us a refund for our round and after such an experience you would think that is the least the course could do. When playing at a golf course you would expect a far more civil environment where people can enjoy themselves. No person should ever be screamed at and intimidated for a simple mistake. My advice is don't waste your time at a facility that simply provides poor treatment to its customers and the course is really not great enough to make it worth it. There are far better courses in the area to go to. Do yourself a favor and avoid this golf course.
Great Time
Course was in great shape except for the sand bunkers. Greens were fantastic and rolled true and fast. Fun layout and will be back
Great
Very good golf course. Bent greens in this area are uncommon. Very smooth and rolled true. Staff was very friendly. Played as a single and five groups let me play through. That's that whole "southern hospitality" for you. Highly recommended. Will definitely play it again.
Slow, hot day
Usually feel like Bradshaw Farms is a well kept course at a reasonable value. This day, though, was the perfect storm of hot, humid weather, recently punched greens, and very slow play. I chose to leave after it took 2:30 to play the front (Red) nine. Staff was, as usual, friendly and accommodating in making sure I was taken care of. I will return soon.
Great Golf Day
I'm a new player so this course was somewhat difficult. It was beautiful. Great driving range. club house was great and grill as well
Great value
Bradshaw Farms has 27 holes and we played the Red and White courses. The layout is above average and the greens were in very good condition. My only complaint was the pace of play due to too tight of tee times. Clean and available carts were also a problem. We had to wait 10 minutes before a cart was ready.
Course was in great shape!! This course has 27 holes, I was suppose to play red and white but when I got done with red the pace had slowed a bit so all I did was talk to the marshalls and they allowed me to go off the blue which gave me a quicker pace of play, that's the beauty of 27 holes that the course offers. Fun and enjoyable, there are trouble areas aka fairway bunkers, hazards, ponds, green side bunkers but you can see them and choose how to play the shot. I never came up to my ball and said "I didn't know that was there" great course and great condition. Play it again if you've done so before or go for the first time and enjoy a great round of golf at Bradshaw Farms, no matter which of the 3 9's you play
Excellent Condition, great greens
Aside for the fact it seems no one knows to rake a trap after hitting their ball into a bunker, I would highly recommend this course to anyone wanting a fair, but challenging course with exceptional greens. Had been a few years since playing, partly because of green fee a little high for comparable courses.. I understand the greens were changed 2-3 years ago, maybe that is part of higher fees. I was however, very impressed. No faults other than traps were very rough. Another good reason to avoid the hazards
Very Friendly Staff
Course was average at best, though greens were outstanding!
Slow play on front, much better on 2nd 9 after group in front let us play through.
Marshall could have been a little more helpful on pace of play
For the money not sure I would go back.
Greens in great shape....
One and only complaint would be the bunkers, very choppy and super wet in spots. Not sure if they are working on getting back, almost like they lost them for awhile or something, but greens rolling great, fairways and rough very fair
Best greens around
I've played Bradshaw since they opened 20 some years ago. It's a beautiful course with an interesting, fair layout. I played the original Red and White nines. Fairways were pretty tight and dry, but there hasn't been much rain lately.
The greens are awesome. Smooth and very fast.
The greens were exactly like the putting green.
So you accidentally hit into the group in front of you, they got PO'd, yelled some choice words and threw one of your balls into the woods. That was cause for the course to provide you a refund? I think you are out of order on this one. It would have been more civil if the group in front had simply let things go with a no-harm no-foul and moved on, BUT they didn't. So it's up to you to brush it off and move on. Remember, it was your group's action that caused this situation in the first place. Mistake or not. Don't let that stop you for playing the course again.
