attractive course nicely laid out and in great condition

The course conditions were OK in the fairway but sometimes below average just off the fairway( granted , you shouldn't be there, but dirt or bare, little grass). Greens good condition and very fast with plenty of undulations to challenge putts. There is a fair amount of water throughout the course and sometimes very close to the fairways which also makes this course challenging for the intermediate golfers. The design aesthetics and course conditions with warmer weather in a few weeks will probably be much better and good. Good value for the $.

While still coming out of winter conditions, the course played fast and fun. Plenty of challenges, fast and true greens and well bunkered. Practice facility is great so get there early.

Staff were all friendly and efficient!

This is a good layout with many holes having generous landing areas. Others are tight and demand a good drive. The greens are large and in good shape. Quick and putt true. Tees are not too good and fairways have not come in yet. They did not overseed. At $40 very good value and it is a fair test of golf.

I joined a couple of players as they were teeing off on the first hole and it help make for a good round of golf. The course was in good shape and we finished in about 3 1/2 hours. The greens were in great shape and were quick. The fairways were good considering the time of year. I would play this course again without any hesitation. They have some interesting holes which also made for a good round of golf. The only reason why I label the course difficulty as moderate is that we played from the green tees. if we had played form the white tees I'm sure it would have been challenging.

The good - greens are very nice. Everything else was poor - tee boxes have little grass and many times slipped on dirt/sand teeing off. Fairways were dormant so every ball settled down, difficult to even roll the ball to get a fair lie. I will not play here again.

Played this gen on my first day in Hilton Head. Weather was perfect, staff was very friendly and accommodating and even got us out earlier than our scheduled tee time. Greens were fast but true. Course wasn't extremely long but required you to make some shots. If you missed left, right, short or long, most likely, you're in trouble!. Enjoyed the challenge and would definitely play this one again.

I enjoy this course one of my fav public cheaper courses in HH.

Winter conditions are somewhat austere. This course gets a lot of play, not so much TLC. All in all it's a good value and enjoyable.

Considering the time of year Pinecrest is one of Brown's better run courses that is off island. The course itself is a fun course with plenty of challenges for the average golfer . The fairways and greens are in good condition considering it is February. The driving range and putting green is always in good condition and generally pretty busy because of that.

Great course , great price, great challenge if you want better go play harbor town for big Buck's best I have found for the price on island!
