Large Greens Open FWs with lots of Sand
Superb course for the money. Picturesque and fairly laid out. Players don't rake bunkers though (short rakes on carts often forgotten) and the lack of green ball mark repair was tragic. I would recommend staff giving every player an orientation lecture on how to take care of this great course.

Rude employee and crazy manager
I put new electric cigarette in the back of cart basket, and I asked employee. And only electric cigarette was not found, I asked him twice. Then he grab garbage basket and throw in front of me. I was so mad and yelling and kick basket. Manager, Jim, called me and ask me you grab him and yelling it. I was so embarrassed what he saying. They are so rude. So thief works there, be careful your stuff. And I was framed for grabbing his cloth, even not touch anything.

General course experience!
The course was in very good condition except for the greens. The greens were quite rough. Also throughout the course there were not many restrooms. All in all courses very busy today but pace of play moved along very well.

Good value
A good value for the price. Good condition, challenging layout. Can feel quite tight and compact in places. Friday of a holiday weekend, it was sloooooow. 2:33 tee time finished at 7:15.

Private Course Conditions
Well worth the trip! This course has great greens and the layout will get your attention right away. You can't get lethargic and just smack balls here its a shotmakers course..Challenging but fair! Well done folks!

Last four holes are the best in McHenry County
Course was in fantastic shape. Foxford is in good as shape as any private country club. I would recommend to anyone. Great service as well. It's a go to place to play......

Great track
Awesome day. 4:15 tee time finished without a problem. Great condition considering how dry it’s been. Nary a brown out on a fairway or green. One of my favorite public tracks in Chicago burbs!

Worth the drive from Lombard
This course is in my opinion one of the best in the Chicagoland area. The design of the course is outstanding every hole unique and challenging. Definitely worth the drive even from Lombard about 25 miles away. The course is a gem it’s a must stop if you like unique and challenging but fair golf! Highly recommend!

One of the best
One of the best public courses in Chicagoland. Pretty, interesting, excellent conditions. Plenty of challenge for the low handicapper from the tips. Friendly enough for others they pick the proper tees. Highly recommend.
