Quail Hollow Golf Course, located in Wesley Chapel, sits a convenient five minutes off of I-75 and state road 54. This championship course, designed by Charles E. Griffin, has been a favorite of Tampa locals since opening in 1965. The layout underwent major renovations in 2011 that totally reconditioned the greens and fairways as well as partially rebuilt it to make it more challenging. Bunkers were both reshaped and added. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and the large bunkers are strategically placed along the greensides. The golf course is demanding at times and will test your shot-making skills, but it is a fair challenge that is not too intimidating for beginners. Four sets of tees make it even more approachable for a range of skill levels.

Course is in great condition and plays at a good pace. Very reasonable.

Great day for golf
I played with two other singles. One a local and one from Chicago. We had great fun. Course was in great shape. Greens excellent.
Conditions exceeded expectations
Good Day at Quail Hollow, course conditions were excellent. Fairways and Greens were in great shape. Pace was a little slow for a Monday, staff in the clubhouse advise me accordingly
Look forward to returning again in the future.
Better than expected conditions
Played here couple years ago, conditions were just averaged. Played this past Tuesday and was way better than expected conditions. Greens were pretty much perfect, fairways had only a few brown spots, and tee boxes were very average (hard to find a flat surface). Fun course though that makes you think about your tee shot from the very first hole. Don't always need the big stick. Had a "hot deal", showed up early to practice, and the starter offered me to tee off whenever I was ready. Good hospitality. I will definitely be back!!

Tees were level, fairways were forgiving and green were large and fairly fast.

Decent course I play it about once a year, good pace, greens and fairways are nicely maintained and course not too difficult especially from the whites
Reasonable cost/ Challenging/
Neighborhood course that can be challenging yet forgiving. For the rates its my go to course being i am bogey golfer.
Very Forgiving Course
Really cool golf course, wide fairways, greens in fair condition. Back 9 was a little more challenging,I would definitely play here again.

First time playing here and we wasn't disappointed

Surprised
Course was in good shape, greens were a little slow. Easy course to play, can't get into much trouble. I would play it again and recommend you give it a try.
Not what it use to be
Overall not bad conditions. Bunkers are terrible (not raked/lack of good sand). Pace was great because very few on coarse(9am) . Two played in 3 hrs but parking lot packed when we left
TUESDAY GOLF GAME
THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY . THE COURSE WAS IN GOOD SHAPE . THE GREEN WERE A LITTLE HAIRY WITH A GOOD CUTTING THE GREEN WOULD BE PERFECT. THE LAYOUT WAS VERY GOOD AND CHALLENGING. A GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ALL .
Nice layout
Do to overseeding the greens we're Velcro slow but I can see after they start cutting them down they will be nice.
The only problem I have is with the charges golf now puts on Hot Deals since they already get all the Hot Deal money as it is. It's time to reward us for using Hot Deals by lowering your FEES

Would recommend anyone to play this course.

I arrived early and was asked if I wanted to go out right away. I was added to a twosome and had a great round. I found most of the teeboxes in good shape. The fairways were ok. Most of the greens had deed weeds in them making it difficult to get some shot to roll true. They did have crews out working on the coarse trying to make improvements. I would recommend trying it out.

Well worth the cash, and round played in less than3 1/2 hours.
