Par-3 at Vista Valencia Golf Course

The staff has never been friendly there. Saw a new person at the golf shop and thought things would change. Wrong, I was blamed for checking in 45 min early! Any other course would be happy if we checked in that early. Need a public course in Valencia to put them out of business.

Fairways appear to have not been watered for some time. I noticed when I landed in the fairway bunker on hole 1, the sand was compacted and coarse. The green side bunkers had small stones mixed in with the sand and was littered with leaves and debris. Although the greens were well watered, most were littered divot marked and pits. In addition, numerous tee boxes and greens were covered with geese droppings. I had last played this course about 5 years ago and stay away because of the odd layout. Too many back to back par 3's where you find yourself having to hit 80 yard pitch shots. If the course was in better condition, it could mitigate the strange layout.The pace of play was very fast (3 hours) but I am guessing the cold weather kept people away. Played via a Hot Deal through GolfNow so I figure I got my money's worth.

You will have to know what you are getting into. This course is fairly short with lots of 3 par holes. that is why it is cheap. Otherwise it is ok. If you want to play a quick 18 holes, this might be a way to go. The course supervisor keeps driving around to make sure everybody keeps up. He bothered me once parking right next to me until I hit the tee. It might be a good practice so that nobody unfairly waits for too long but he could've stayed a bit behind so I don't get bothered. Otherwise course condition is fair and easy.
I didn't feel as if I had played 18 holes due to the shortness of the course just so you are aware of it.

played before and always fun time. staff this time was not very friendly ( mike ) this time. normally very friendly.

No one even mentioned that the greens were plugged and most were also covered with sand.

I was very surprisd the pace of play wasn't as bad as I thought. I guess the worst part of my experience there was the smell of the bird droppings in the lakes.

Very slow play. Very dry. Some challenging holes. Overall ok!

Vista Valencia offers very playable conditions, with excellent greens. Some holes are challenging; most golfers will find this course an excellent place to polish their games. The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff is notable; they made our visit very pleasurable. We will definitely return.

15 minutes a hole with 2 groups backed up at tee box

The course was descen for the pricet and the beverage lady was really nice but the slow play hurts this course. It took us 6 hours to finish this course. Its hard to get in a rhythm when you have to wait at every hole. Not sure if I'll come back.

The course would be really nice if they could do something about the amount of geese there. You have to watch every step you take because the geese "droppings" are everywhere. Fairways are in poor condition.

After 16 holes and four hours, we left. Allowing groups of five on a short course like this should be abolished.
You have no rhythm when you wait on EVERY tee to hit.
It's only 4000 yards or so total, and playing time should be considerably less than 4 1/2 hours or so.

Definitely a fun course! A lot of the elevated tee boxes and/or greens make for a very interesting round. Club selection can become challenging. Winter weather made a lot of the grass brown or half dirt, but I'm sure it improves by spring time.

It is a lovely course, well maintained with a very cordial and friendly staff. I always enjoy playing there...

the tee boxes had geese deification everywhere. The water was green an smelled very bad. The staff was not friendly by any means. I would not recommend this course for an experienced golfer.

The course is pretty alright. It is pretty short but for the discounted rate it was great. Got a little backed up on the back.

Good course for practicing and fine tooning. To bigger things.

Good for the money but took over 5 hours to play. Recommended for beginners to intermediate players.

Well manicured greens. Fair fairways. Overall a nice course for the price.

The course was very short with too many par 3's. Some of the wholes were pretty nice and fun to play but most seemed too similar to previous holes. The staff seemed to be annoyed to help people. One of the worst parts was the fact that there were many sprinklers on most of the holes that were going off and getting you wet if you were on or near the fairway. The worst part was when you were putting, sometimes there would be men coming on the green and starting to water the green while you were putting which was very distracting. This was going on from 11:30 am - 4pm.
