Oliver's Nest Golf and Country Club

The view of the trees in fall colour was spectacular.
The weather was great so that added to the scenery.
The course has old oak trees which are majestic and breathtaking. Stop playing for a moment and enjoy the natural surroundings.

First time played this course and enjoyed the round very much with my wife. The fairways are being kept in good condition and the greens are not that easy to putt but also in good condition. Staff were friendly and pace also good. I will return when opportunity arises.

This is my second game on this Gem of a course and I was really impressed again by its layout and also the condition of fairways and greens. We have had a very hot and dry summer and where all other course seem to be drying out you would never know by looking at this course. Amazingly green everywhere. The course layout is somewhat challenging and nicely spread out. The greens are especially challenging with all of the undulations that they have. Even the bunkers have great sand and are fair to come out of. This course is definitely worth the hours drive it takes me to get to from my house and I look forward to my next game up here. I only wish it was closer so I could be a regular on it.

Some holes the tee blocks do not line up with fairways so it adds a new element to the drive

I enjoyed the variety of the layout and the difficulty of the wholes in general. Difficult to assess the greens as they had just been punched so true speed and break would vary from what I played.
Clubhouse is serviceable and the refreshments are good other than the fact there is no draft beer for the end of the round.

the price was great - the grass thick and green on the fairways - greens - perfect- \no rush - a fun afternoon

was looking forward to playing this course for the first time. we arrived just prior to our tee time and were advised that there was a back 9 start. no issue so we thought. Once we hit the 11th hole(our 2nd) we could not dodge the sprinklers which kept kicking on at each hole we advanced to. Basically got soaked for the next 7holes. Even tried calling back to pro shop to have maintenance crew kill the sprinklers NO DICE ! ruined our first nine trying to stay dry and hit tee shots in between sprinklers watering tee blocks. pace would have been quicker without this delay on the blocks.

We had a very enjoyable round. Course is in good shape, although greens were a little shaggy (not surprising given recent drought conditions). Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I found The course in good condition, the round was completed in 4 hours with mostly foursomes in front and behind us. We normally walk but played with carts on this occasion and suspect that the course would be a tough walk in hot weather with many long walks between holes. All in this is an enjoyable and challenging course.

Our foursome returned to Olivers nest. Hadnt played in a couple of years. What a welcome surprise. Greens in great shape, bunkers have all bee redone and filled. Fairways were fine, For a cottage course, a great find!

Greens were slow. Probably not cut because of rain the day before.

This was my first time playing Oliver's Nest. I expected a little more, but I wasn't disappointed. The course is in good shape, especially the greens, but I can't say that there are many memorable holes. It's nice that the first few holes are forgiving off the tee. If you can get there early I would advise warming up on the large grass tee driving range.

It has been extremely hot and dry in our area, this course was in very good shape, fairways pretty lush, greens fast, pace was good, I will certainly make another trip to this course in the future! go end enjoy!
