First time I have played this course in a couple of years and was thrilled in the course condition and how much it has improved since previous visits. We enjoyed it so much that we returned two days later for another round.
Some challenging homes but they could manage the course better
Some nice holes but the marshalling on the course took the enjoyment of playing it away
Very good condition - poor traps
Over all the course is in very good condition. Many traps are stony to the point of unplayable but the owners are working to improve this. Front 9 was a good pace of play but the back was slow.

COURSE IN VERY GOOD SHAPE. PRESENTED US WITH A FEW CHALLENGES
1st tijme at Olivers nest
I was surprised to see no starters or rangers on the course. I started off the back when I thought it was clear to go.
The pace of play was extremely slow.
the greens have amazing shape but are far too slow and cut long so you can't take advantage of the breaks.
quite the drive from toronto but worth it
its a long drive from Toronto,but well worth it for the playability of the course.
Staff friendliness started the day off right,and the condition of the course was fantastic.
Fast greens made for an interesting day.
looking forward to the next round there.
Sand Traps
Once they get enough sand in the traps and fill in the traps that have no sand in them the course will be very nice for play
tee blocks
enjoyed the course. I just couldnt figure out why the tee blocks were about 3.5 to 4 feet apart, I couldn't even fit in between them. In some cases they were so far back on the block that I had to have one foot on the long grass off the block. I will assume that the person who set them didnt know what they were doing.

Great. Little golf course
Olivers is a really fun course. Conditions are excellent this year, both fairways and greens are in great shape. Excellent value for the dollar and worth the drive. Highly recommend the course.
Green's keeping shouldn't have to interupt a great day!
My only complaint of this round was the ground's keeping. Between dodging sprinklers that seemed to follow us on the fairways and then waiting for green's to finish getting soaked and then having to deal with a layer of water on the green that just wouldn't go away. Disappointing that this couldn't have been better coordinated!
It is back!
Under new management the course has been brought back to close to the conditions that existed in it's prime. Bunkers still need some work or perhaps just daily attention. Otherwise the course offers variety, visual appeal. Sufficient challenge for any golfer and good value. Generally good pace of play.

Arrived an hour early for our hot deal time and the pro shop staff let us tee off right away.

everything was green and lush, greens in good shape as were all the fairways. great day. a little slow with 4 groups ahead of us that were all together,

My 1st time playing this course..... Staff was great, fast pace as it was wide open in front of us. Looking forward to playing it again.
The greens have a lot of contour
I love the layout of this course. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Most fairways are fairly wide and a lot of the rough is cut short enough to get a shot from there. Although I rode both times I played this course, it would be an easy walk.
Nice course
Course in great shape. Staff very friendly, lovely country setting.
good value
We did this course in 2012 or 13 and it was in terrible shape. I am very happy to say that the new owners have reversed that trend and it is back to its beautiful conditions with plush fairways and spongy greens. Sand traps still need some work but overall this course is well worth the money.
Great value for price
Hadn't played course in a few years and found they had reversed the front and back nines. Sand traps were unplayable and rough need to be cut. Just off fairway a couple inches meant time wasted looking for balls, some which never did get found. Realize they had financial problems a few years back and new owners need to do more to the course itself. Did notice lots of work being done on clubhouse facilities and decking and it does look nice. Will be great track when back to good condition. Enjoyed the day.
Nice course but........
Was a nice little track, not too difficult. Just over 6600 yds from the tips. 5700 yds from whites. Greens were long and very slow. Fairways were in great shape for this time of the year. Bunkers leave much to be desired mostly ground under repair areas now. But they are spending some money on repairing them so in time this can be a very fun course to play.
